Description
Remixes, deleted features, and bonus content from Studio Ghibli.
Clockwise from top left:
- Porco Rosso planes; original Porco hero plane was overscaled.
- deleted scene; neon lights sequence from the ghost train in spirited away. The rails lead off into the black tiles from the flooded platform. Ultimately cut because it was a little too obscure and ate tiles.
- old Totoro layout featured a shared forest backdrop for Kiki's parents house and the Totoro house, but there wasn't anywhere to put the train station. New tree was reworked to be a little more "wild" and to let the maze be more in the roots themselves.
- train station with Totoro+leaf umbrella statues before more rework of the Kiki area
- Yubaba's office and her son's playroom before bathhouse reworks
- Old Kiki's Bakery
- One of the first things on the map as the castle. Fisch was looking for someone to "do sculptural things" and that ended up being one of my big contributions; re-making setpieces. I built the castle from this view first because it is the most identifiable and would have the most complex coaster interactions. - Full-Size

That plane being made out of roof is almost as bad as roofs being made out of track. Gah you people.

It is not, that's just the angle.
Buuuuuut I did do a version of the porco plane with one wing longer than the other intentionally to mimic a famous italian fighter:

before we decided that was way too obscure and nobody would get it.

Haha those neon lights. Totally asked myself "wtf are those" through most of the building process on this park.

Ah, Studio Ghibli. One of my favourite animation studios. I loved seeing some of my favourites come to 'life' in this! Awesome work on perhaps my favourite park of H2H so far!
