Description
This was built as a part of Plopsa Brittanica, but later on released apart as a design. It's a semi-recreation of Plopsaland De Panne's castle zone that features the log flume and a Mack powered coaster.
For me this represents great, joyful and also sad memories. I've worked for a few years at Plopsaland De Panne, first as student and later on as a seasonal employee. The Boomstammetjes was my favorite ride to work on, mainly because that meant I got to work with Patrick, the fixed ride OP of the flume.
He was the joker of the park, a boring day became fun when working with him. We became good friends, I could tell him everything. Sadly I can still remember the day I got that one call... Cancer. The doctors said 'several years' but it ended three months later.
Every time I go to Plopsaland and enter the station of the flume I expect Patrick to be there... but he isn't anymore. But all the good moments and crazy stuff we've done aren't forgotten. He still lives on in my hearth. King Patrick. -

Very nice pic!
Log Flume looks nice and a very good architectur. Only thing i would chance are the red flowers near the railroad-track. Bit more variation would be nice here
I'm never sure if this thing was completely amazing or completely weird... mabye weird in an amazing way haha
Having finally visited this place last summer I can say you really did capture the feel of the place.
Sad story though, sorry for your loss.
