Ugly and unfinished
Epic and beautiful.
So epic...
It really frustrates me that this gets such a positive reception every time it comes up. It's literally unfinished. Anything released in this state today wouldn't get close to design.
Thrillmatic is unfinished too. There's still a ton of finished content, for example the screen you just called unfinished for reasons unknown to me. You may as well comment 'unfinished' on any park that's still under construction.
I think this is epic.
But there's obviously unfinished work? The backs of the building are missing. The roof is missing on one building. There's no foliage or landscaping on half the map, and it's very obviously not meant to be like that, otherwise why would that random strip on the right hand side have foliage along the river and nowhere else?
Thrillmatic also never won any accolades.
The difference there is that this isn't under construction. It's a fully fledged design. A finished release.
I would say, appreciate what you have under your eyes, without thinking about what's behind, unfinished or not.
It's like when people comment "and now click on the arrow" on my screens. We're on the screenshot section, not the park one.
Otherwise good screen but a little boring, nothing incredible here and the landscaping could have been better. Still very appreciable to see ambitious and creative things like that.
It is a shame that this went unfinished.
Trav's issue is that it ***did*** get Design.
I think the screenshot is wonderful, but it's a shame that the full product was incomplete.
The woodie is too twisty, reminds me of spaghetti.
Rest of the screen is great though, it does good to encapsulate the magic that this park could have if it was finished.
The screen is good, but as CC9 says and I said, this won design. With at least a third of the map unfinished. The bits that are there are nice, but not great. But the fact that it's literally unfinished, not just unrefined, bothers me.
If you read through the thread from the time, people then had problems with it winning design as well.
should have just filled it with trees lol
While I do like the area around the station, this particular screen isn't as flattering. Actually it looks pretty half-assed.
