Oh man, I love this! It's bold for sure, but in a good way.
Definitely needs some more contrast though, there is a lot of brown as you said. Perhaps some black or grey trim along each of the different levels would break up the brown a bit, and would allow each level to stand out? Some different paths might help as well, I'm not sold on the sand path.
Bold colors are great, but I think they need to be a little more of a motif. Currently it's overwhelmingly brown. Perhaps a splash of magenta integrated into the arches above the dark brown brick path, and using regular water instead of brown would be effective, although I imagine there's a good reason for the brown.
Any suggestions on path types? My brain is stuck on brown path types. Brick wouldn't really work here, but perhaps a mix of cobblestone and crazy paving would do the trick...
Digging this theme. The desert atmosphere comes across well.
Not as sure about the brown water though.
For the most part I think the color scheme works well. I don't mind the overall abundance of brown, but a few small touches of additional colors might liven it up a bit.
Ooie oof ow my eyes that's a lot of tan
There are some nice attempts to inject color here, but it just can't compete with the combination of sand texture land tiles and sandy path. Maybe change your paths up, I think that darker brick texture path might go well with this theme.
The brown is fine for a desert theme, and I think you already have just enough contrasting details. Keep the brown and don't fall for the temptation of going the conventional route and adding colour for fear of the "brown is not a theme"-tag. The theme here is really strong and can't be missed because of the brown. Indeed the brown is part of making the theme so strong. A particularly interesting touch is the brown water for the rapids!
What a spectrum of contrasting ideas. Yikes. So I've played around with the path a bit, nothing brick or crazy/cobblestone path seemed to fit the theme. I tried the pebble pathway, but it's too much texture. So I settled on trying these two different ideas:
First, the white Kumba path, but I doubt I'll keep it, it seems to take away from the theme. I feel it makes the screen look worse. But I'm open to your thoughts on it, but you'd really have to sell it...
Second, I mixed some tan block path with the current pathway. I feel it gives the effect that there's a stone pathway, but the sand has blown into the corners and along the edges of the path. It doesn't change the color, but the texture seems to add something extra to the park without being too overpowering like other pathways I've tried. And it still manages to keep the desert theme, in fact I think it adds to it...
And I added some magenta splashes on the lower arches, and I'll do more on the archy in the future. I also tried having the water blue instead of brown, but we'll see. Being a fantasy park I don't mind breaking away from the usual.

I really like it. All the extra colours make it feel very alive.
I'm just confused and disoriented by the isometric perspective on this one though

I think change the path and the overwhelming brown-ness won't be anywhere near as bad.

My eyes.
Very nicely constructed though, all the layer and such.

I love the boldness of all the brown with the pops of blue. Phenomenal.

i love the tight color scheme of the whole area. something that might help you is to use the kumba off-white paths though.

Looking back, I do thick changing the water to the normal crystal blue would add a lovely refreshing contrast.

I really really like the second screenshot, I think that and the blue water adds the contrast that you needed. This is great stuff
