It is low to the ground, I'd say no more than a peep and a half (which is what it is currently in game). This has been my issue with this park the entire time: what looks good in-game vs. what matches reality. Any advice for solving this problem?
Along with what Bubbsy said, it appears that you have a floating slide in your waterpark.
Didn't you know? Knoebels tapped the ether and introduced floating objects last year...
In all seriousness, I meant to fix that and evidently forgot. I'm not sure I like that slide anyway, it doesn't really match what's actually in the pool. I might try to make my own out of scenery.
I am not a fan of this screen at all. You can do so much better than this.
I thank you for the vote of confidence, but what are you seeing that you particularly don't like? Keep in mind this is a recreation, and I would certainly do things different if this was a park I was making on my own....for example, getting rid of the grey paths everywhere!
This could perhaps be just a dull area in real life in general, but even then, from the Google Street View link you've given in the post above mine, I think there is a lot of stuff I'd love to see added in this screenshot.
For example, there is a ticket booth next to the red hut thingy that I don't see in the screen, not to mention a flower basket and a small sign right next to the red hut itself. Just a minor example, as there are some much more significant things around the whole place. There could be a few more trees around the station in general too. Also, the bins placed in the real life photos don't resemble the ones you've placed. This is just a little suggestion but try this one instead:
I looked around that street view and I think the height of the red hut and the station are the same. Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't these (more or less) on the same plane?
If that is true, the heights should indeed match as they (kinda) do in the image as compared to the screen, where they have a unit's difference. I personally think the red hut looks fine height-wise, but the station is a bit too short like Bubbsy said. Guests would have a tough time walking through there with hats on. BTW, is it just me or is the station roof brown in the real life shots? Certainly looks like it, at least.

That huge building is wayyyy too low. Add like 2-3 more units

i do genuinely like how incredibly dull and unrefined it is. idk, there's something charming about it for me.

You need way more trees and way less path.
