I appreciate that this is LL, but sorry I'm really not getting an India feel from this. It feels generic LL, with a hint of purple and green. It feels almost like you've fallen into the classical atmosphere LL trap rather than doing your own thing which is what has kept you strong so far.
I don't know how you could make it more India-ish either though. Don't get me wrong, it's still solid LL, but it's very typical LL and it's not particularly Indian feeling to me.
As an Indian, I can see the connection here, specifically with the centre building and the general foliage/path layout around it. Looks like something I'd see around Delhi Fort. Can't say the same for some of the stuff around the edges of the screen, but overall, this is some nice work!

You're right. And I hate to do that whole 'the flaws you have pointed out are intentional' thing.. but with this park I am going for themes which are made up and influenced by real places in a vague/hazy way. And I'm also going for a very classic style. Basically I was looking over some posix parks and wanted to build in a similar minimalist style..I'm trying to explore the aesthetic power of cohesive colours and repeated motifs. And good compositions too of course.
I can definitely appreciate the forms and composition here. Overall it's pretty nice. Immediately got the classic vibe of old posix parks and the like.
My suggestions: path is the problem for me, here. Stick to one or at least don't use one to outline everything. Too many clean lines make everything sterile, especially since your structures are pretty clean. Things need to feel organic in the right places for this style to flourish.
You could do better than that pumpkin as a domed roof.
The path could afford to be about more organic and it'd improve this screen quite a bit. However, I feel it's definitely missing that spark your work normally has. Could use a bit more of fun creative liberties thrown in.
Needless to say I think it's gorgeous. It makes me so happy each time to see the depths of your creativity. I think some of the colour combos you've chosen are rather unique, and the architecture is "minimal" but interesting, still. I totally think this is giving off an India vibe, in your own original and abstract way. This personality in the style is what makes it so beautiful, and what hardly any people at the site still seem sensible towards, which to me is a sad thing. The fact that you've taken an interest in the style that kept me myself fascinated for so long back then just makes me even happier. If there was an OpenLL, I would hit you up for a duo alex and we could have some fun.
Yeah, agree with the above that it is annoying that not everything you build is spectacular, groundbreaking and immensely high quality. If you don't fulfil exactly what this site expects from you, then what's the point?
Jk, I really do enjoy what you have here. I actually like the stark definition of the pathways.
I like the minimalist, old-school vibe here. Not completely convinced by the pumpkin dome, however, though I can certainly appreciate the idea. Maybe it's just a little too spaced out to work in this setting... It would probably have looked better in a "regular" alex park!
I think there are some nice spots there, but on the whole it doesn't work for me... it feels a little 'amateur-ish' for you. the paths is my main complaint- I'm not a fan of the different shades of brown blocking each other in, or the sand underneath. I agree that there should be a few spots of less controlled, lush foliage also, to brighten it up and add some depth and interest- it just feels a little lifeless atm. I like the purple/green balance, and some of the rooves/domes are interesting, but on the whole it seems like its missing the 'oomph' of atmosphere and liveliness; I definitely wouldn't have called it india if you hadn't said also.

This is just sort of okay. You can do much better than this, feels pretty stale and run of the mill to me.

I see India, it just feels too clean. You need to rough India up a bit.

I like all of it. Looks very pleasant. Those green awnings are sweet.
