Description
This is the station area of my WIP Airplane Coaster. This is part of a park, and it's not a recreation of Rye, or an exact replica of the Airplane Coaster for that matter. However, it is supposed to be built like an older woodie (note the "skid brakes" I made using wooden wild mouse track.)

this shows promise! the overall structure isnt bad, but needs some refinement. maybe tone down the colours a little bit, and add some trims.

The skid brakes are really clever.
I'd try to vary up your textures on the station a little though.

I like the concept of a true queue.. does it work?

Not really. The entrance is invisible thanks to OpenRCT2. The path to the entrance is an invisible path object. I could arrange that so guests appear to be milling about on the platform selecting their seat, though.
I tried to copy and paste the entrance using the tile inspector to work something like Belmont Shores (which I got some inspiration from here), then deleted the original, but the ride refused to open due to lack of an entrance. If anybody more experienced with the tile inspector could explain how to pull this off, I'd be quite interested.

I like the concept and I know exactly what your talking about. I'm working on the same idea and it's proving to be tricky. If I get closer on my end i'll share.

The improvement from your earlier work is stellar. This is definitely decent work. Great idea with the brakes. Next time you post a screen, make sure it's finished. You don't need our approval for every little thing you add.

Thanks. I've always found it a bit ironic that my "accolade submissions" are my worst works, and my half-decent stuff just sits in the digital dumpster. Hopefully this ends that trend.
