Another year and one that is highly anticipated by our fans. Because we announced a new big ride and everyone knows our Arrow deal expired this year. That meant we opened the third Arrow ride...
Which is Europe's first suspended coaster! Wardley was a genius for choosing this ride. He designed the lay-out himself and decided to go for a lay-out close to the ground. He also designed the new theme zone for it, a medieval village. To make it a bit more special, the coaster has been given a vampire theme and therefore is named the Vampire. Extra cool fact is the cars of the train swing in the corners.
There is also a second new ride in the new zone. A topspin named Trebuchet. Next to that, we opened a new restaurant and it's the biggest one of our park. In "Herberg de witte zwaan" you can enjoy some delicious local meals.
There was a new third ride planned too, completely designed by Wardley but since it has some new techniques in it the construction suffered from serious delay. We decided to only put op the facade and open the ride next year when it is completely done. That way we can spread the costs over an extra year too.
We changed the lay-out of the square a bit so the entrance of the new zone is connected in the best way possible. We also moved the merry-go-round from the entrance to here and gave it it's own roof construction. On the old place of the merry-go-round, the green walls appeared so construction over there can be expected. But what?
We are proud on our investments but we know the pack lacks content. We have enough large rides, but enough little ones. Little rides needed for the visitors to be able to fill their day. We also lack facilities, still. So the next 5 or 6 years we will invest a whole lot of money to fill the park up. Mostly with little new rides.
