Next year we celebrate our five year anniversary. And we'll do that with some big new rides, so this year we didn't open any new rides. This year we concentrated on our facilities.

We opened another toilet block, only the third in the park. Together in the same building there is a first aid room. In the building next to it, we centralized our ticket sales.

We still use the pay per ride system but we didn't want our visitors to pay at the ride anymore. It takes time, it's not safe for our operators... so from now on you can buy tokens here which you can spend on the rides. We've also introduced a multiple tokens card and even an all-in option bracelet for entering every ride in the park without any limits.

For the moment, the pay per ride system is good enough. In the agreement with the city we promised the city government to keep the beach free and accessible all the time for anyone. With this system we are keeping up to that promise.

We also lacked eating facilities. It's still very common for people to take their own lunch but there were complains we had nothing to offer to eat. So we opened our first restaurant in the park, near the entrance. From now on you can enjoy a delicious meal at the White Horse.

We also opened a second restaurant in the pirate zone. This one offers mostly fish and sea fruits. We also put a toilet block next to it.

And we finally put fences around every path, placed bins and banks everywhere. Until now we still weren't finished with this task. With the fencing we also now forbid people to go into the forest which was a common habit. But with the expanding coming up we can't guarantee the safety if you're walking outside of the fenced area.

We've also fenced the picknick area and placed some more tables. There's also a little camp fire. We also hired some extra staff members. Mostly cleaning staff and mechanics but also one steward because elder people were complaining about the vandalism the youth were doing. The steward found out it were the elderly people who were doing the vandalism!

No new rides this year but we are on the right way to have our moment to shine next year, when we celebrate our five year anniversary.
