Description
Hit the 150 year mark in the park, thought I'd give another teaser! You can catch a glimpse of a section of Shy Guy Falls here (but you don't see the falls in this shot, gotta wait until the park is released!!!). Plus here's an angle of one of many themed restaurants in the park, and a personal favorite of mine so far, "The Fire Flower". Damn proud of those umbrellas and tables! :)
Still needs a bit more work done on it... - Full-Size

I love this concept so much

All these areas alone are so great. But I'm starting to wonder if there will be a huge lack of cohesion or a horrible transition between areas.

Loving it, were did you get the idea for a mario kart themed park?

^^ No need to wonder, the transitions are definitely brutal! It's kind of the nature of the beast, this was how I figured it'd play out. Though some parts are semi-cohesive, blending different track landscapes together has worked to a certain degree. However, I couldn't care less, I'm having too much fun putting this park together!
^ I've wanted to do it for a few years now. Well the idea kind of grew after experimenting with a handful of go-kart tracks in my other parks, but it wasn't until I found out there was a few Mario theme packs for rct that it really got me interested in it. Thanks for the go-kart object btw, it'll add some wonderful touches to the themeing.

As long as you're aware, I'm sure it'll be fine. Particularly considering the beauty of the Treasure Islands overview. Keep having fun, these screens are great.

Perhaps a bit more detail can be added to the sand track segments, its a bit lacking compared to the other screens. Almost like you put more detail into the foliage than the track itself here.

Does the fire flower-looking store really sells fire flower?

Your architecture seems to be improving, which is great. Foliage is well done, but could use more tall trees (palms!). I do agree that the track itself could use more detail.
Also, I understand that you have the fire flower thing there and the custom MARIO scenery but I'm not getting the vibe of the original games. What makes this Nintendo other than the name? I feel like you could add more whimsy and distinction to this to make it truly like the games, rather than just having a go-kart track plopped into a tropical setting.

The scenery is frames from Super Mario RPG Legend of the Seven Stars (SNES; produced by Square), and the theme is directed at the Mario Kart series, so it's likely just a problem with the scenery he has available if anything.

@G-Force: The track will get some touching up for sure. For some reason it seemed like my object count was higher than expected about a month ago, so I will return to each track to spice things up. This track will definitely get some improvement.
@Steve: Just to clear the air, this park is based on a mixture of the Mario Kart Series, from SNES to WiiU, but what I've shown in screens so far has been only teasers. I've held back on some of the good stuff. Overall I think the rest of what I've done will immerse you into the Mario Kart vibe. There's plenty of scenery, archy etc that screams Mario Kart... it's there, but you can't see it yet! If you're a bit of a MK enthusiast I might have you test the park as I get into the later stages of the project and get more feedback from you.
Thanks for your comments everyone!
