Great description Leon! This screen makes me want to eat a stale cheese sandwich from the only deli in town where you can't pay with your card, forcing you to walk to the town square to withdraw some cash.
Its a carry over from roman streets. Which had pedestrian steps across them separated to allow the passing of carts and chariots drawn by horses. Like this:
You can even see the ruts in the road created by the wheels over possibly hundreds of years.
For whatever reason, the idea stuck, and eventually with the modernization of roads, they eventually were replaced with paint or stickers.
This is excellent. Really love what you did with the track + chairlift supports to create the overhead cable lines on the railway. The station is great too, really good representation of the "local train stop" style.
I was wondering when we were going to see some more liampie work only yesterday... Glad to see it's coming, even though it's in the form of the multiplayer project. Good looking town!
Fisch should change the damn station's roof already
The roof's shape is nice for a train station, but it's a bit uninteresting. I would suggest adding some details in there, such as replacing parts of it with glass.

It's more so that the roof doesn't actually cover much of the platform and instead covers the train tracks. For a roof like this, the platform would normally be in the middle.
Looks like a boring field trip to germany, so nice job!
Crazy good. Indeed very german vibe.
Great screen, reminds me of something, but i don't know what.
I actually think this better than Budapleasure.
Wonderful!!
Still don't get the zebra crossings though, but I guess that's my problem.

I love this so much.
Really is amazing. The train tracks are so well done.
