Description
USS Olympia was laid down in 1981 as a Los Angeles-class fast attack submarine for the United States Navy. Named after Olympia, Washington, she was outfitted with an SG6 nuclear reactor, capable of keeping her at sea for 90 days with her crew of 129. The ship is able to remain at sea for 90 days, but only requires fuel every 30 years. As a fast attack submarine, the Olympia carried numerous torpedoes, land attack missiles, and anti-ship missiles, but no ballistic missiles.
Following her decommissioning, she was brought to the Essex Naval Park as the first Los Angeles-class museum ship. - Full-Size

It looks like a torpedo.

Nice work, this project is definitely intriguing.
Would be kind of cool if there was a way to enter the sub and go into the interior, rather than just walk on top of it.
I also don't know how accurate that tail is, the fins seem way too large for a sub like this. Though, I have no idea if you're actually trying to be realistic when it comes to these ships.

I can see about making it look like there is a way to get inside. It might be tough with the objects I used for the hull, but it might be doable.
The fin looks taller than it actually is due to the angle; it should extend just over 1/4 the way up the sail.

hang on, the Olympia is still in active service
Looking good. My only suggestion would be to add some more details for visual interest; different texture for non-slip deck, open VLS cells, some lines to the dock, railing atop the conning tower, that kind of stuff.

I'm well aware she is, but any decommissioned have all been disposed.
Conning tower rail sounds good along with pier lines (oops; forgot those). VLS cells might be tough because I want guests wandering, but I could try it out. Different texture for the non-slip is a good call too.
