The launched coaster and B&M flyer are great but I can't help but to think the whole area with them and the wooden coaster have just so much going on, and not in a "beautiful chaos" sort of way. Not much you can do, I suppose.
Are the curlers still being removed? I think either that or the launched coaster could be done away with.
Can't wait to see this park finished. There is definitely a bit clusterfuck going on there, but i'm not feeling really bad about that, cause so many people worked/and should work on that!
Steve, to be honest, the front half of the park feels the most coherent so far, as gaps are filled in and with weaker spots getting some quality injections. It actually is starting to feel like a park. An awesome park.
I agree with Liam the front is very very nice. This park has been so fun to work on even after loosing inspiration for my area I am still working. Would really love to see the next park be a park in space or a park using the improvising bench.
Even if I added but a refreshments stall on the bobsled queue, this is a fun cooperative project in ways we never dreamed possible back in the day. Thank you ORCT2.
Who needs a panelist vote? The point of the park is to collaborate and have fun, show what high quality work NE is capable of. This park and future multiplayer group parks should go on a different shelf than the bronze, silvers, and golds.
I think we have an idea to make voting work and still give people credit for their work. Shouldn't be a problem as long as people respect the voting process.
Am I right in thinking that many people are building on this at the same time? How does that work?
All player actions for a frame are sent from client to server. Then the server sends them out to all clients. When each client has a copy of all player's input, the game logic advances. Since each client executes exactly the same actions at the same time, in principle they all see the same park.
In practice, desyncs are still fairly common, but it tends to be minor stuff like peeps being in the wrong position, so it's possible to continue to play when desynced.
Unfortunately, certain cheats aren't available in multiplayer because they don't sync over the network. Using the friction cheat for example would result in an immediate desync because no other clients receive the command.

How did you miss this development!? Multiplayer RCT is exactly what is sounds like. You see other people building and shit, communication with signs, as well as in the built-in chat. It's really really great. Get OpenRCT2 if you don't have it yet, and see for yourself. It's very easy to get in.
Checked out the park last night after a week break from following... not sure what happened, but this park makes less sense now than it did then. The B&M invert... just badly designed. Two water rides with main drops within feet of each other, going the same way, is just weird. The regular steel coaster seems so cookie cutter. Random Casino land... by themselves it all may be good, but together there's just no flow.

The entrance is Spotlight material, however.

Somebody has been at my carrousel again!
A bit of a clusterfuck of stuff. Some great areas, themes and ideas, but I'm not sure the whole macro of it works. The big picture seems a bit... odd.

It will come together, most likely. Not bad for the first map, hope over time they will improve.
Now the trouble is panelist voting, probably will be impossible.

Was thinking that as well.
