Description
It's an Open Day at the shipyard at Beckholmen. The pickups take the visitors on a tour through the different areas.
** NOTE ** - The reason why the screen looks zoomed out is because of the resolution used in OpenRCT2. I used it to include more content in the screen.
Could anyone guess which two NE-members that are chief mechanics in this area?
By the way, someone might recognize the hull of the ship. I stole it shamelessly. -

God damnit, Lagom, why are you so good?!
Brilliant screen, filled to the brim with life, colour and detail. Absolutely perfect.
I call Version1, he loves boats.
There's an unbelievable amount of character here. Beautiful work.
Wow. It's like some really cool lego city set but way better.
I think you've black-tiled too close in.. maybe add more a few more tiles of water to the edges so you have a proper backdrop?
@Jappy - Thanks, Jappy! And you're right, Version1 is one of them.
@][ntamin22 - Thank you, boss!
@alex - The black tiles are just for this screen. There is an overview in the project folder, if you want to see it in its right context.
@battle boy - Thanks, bb!
Your work is so colourful yet feels so real. It's great, so different to everything else.
I did say I hated outskirts and didn't want to see them. This is an exception, just brilliant!
Awesome idea to use a dry dock. Just I don't buy the brick texture in the flood bay. Cement would be passable, but the dam itself should be steel for sure.
Oh wow. This is just awesome. (though Kumba has a point)
thats the cutest dock ever, looks like its from thomas the tank engine
dude chill!! lol, your like alex was earlier in the year with all of his LL screens.
@trav, @FredD, @mintliqueur, @Cocoa, @Scoop - Thank you for your uplifting comments. Glad you like it!
@Kumba - That's an astute point. I'll see if I can find a more adequate texture. Thanks.
Wow. Fuck me that's good.
also where was this on boat day?
This looks so wonderful it makes the game feel like a brand new game, somehow you've done the game so much justice it doesn't even feel like an older game anymore. Of course with my design skills having a long way to go before being this good I also hate you *designer-envy* (only joking).
Everywhere you look has the wow factor, there has to be some sort of creative career for you with such visual skills, if that's not already the case. Lots of neat touches too like the cranes.
Thank you, never knew boats could make ones day so much!
This is amazing.
