I love the ideas behind this park, I'd always wanted to do a music themed one but never got round to it. The DJ decks are great and the Fame Cafe's a really nice landmark. Don't think I'd have done the theme as well as you.
Unfortunately, this is probably the weakest screen you've shown from this park so far. Foliage is still a weakness of your building - mainly because you've a very strange selection of colours and textures which aren't overly pleasant to look at (ie tall brown grass? when is that ever nice to look at? light green + oak + dark green are too muted in colour imo and sap a lot of the joy you might be able to gain from more colourful architecture)
The foliage also focuses attention on the rather boring pathing and given the surroundings I'm not sure the crazy paving + tarmac works here.
Don't get me wrong, some great underlying ideas here but definitely not the kind of screen to post to portray those ideas imo (at least in this state)
@Sunscreemer: Thanks, that's a nice compliment! It is indeed quite hard to translate something like music into a visual thing like a theme park.
@Stoksy: I think I get you point. I personally believe the duller colours from the foliage form a nice contrast with the bright surroundings. In the end, it's of course all a matter of taste.
Foliage and its composition has however always been my weakest point, and I'm always looking for tips and advice to improve on it. I'm not going to redo all the foliage for Piano Park, as that park is nearly finished and will really be demotivating. Do you however have any advice for my future projects? I'm always willing to improve!
@trav: You've no idea how long I've worked on that rapids! How the hell do you theme a ride called Cry me a River? I think using a minimalist, natural style works though.
Yea, this really doesn't do much for me. The structures are good but everything else is a real step down from the rest of the park. Too much grey, and an overload of emptiness.
If I were you I'd complete re design the rides and give them some more detail and "depth". Right now it seems like you have the bare minimum of ride details.
Looks good, Jappy. I really like the structure of the cafe. I might have to steal it.
However, I kind of agree with Stoksy. Foliage needs work. Try to experiment a bit with different trees, bushes, and colours.
Lastly, please don't rush things before completion. Take your time!
To all, don't worry. I have to admit that I didn't really have much inspiration or ideas for this area. But now I do! I have been thinking a long time baout it, and I finally know what to do with the pop and DJ area! I'll keep the cafe, it will be relocated however.
Take a good long look at the screen... It will not be the same at release!

I love that you've called it Cry Me a River. That's amazing.

I think it's lacking some structures.
