Seems like a pretty good use of the grass landscaping tool, albeit a bit flat and featureless- park based in Kansas? Seems so. The lack of custom scenery (or scenery in general) is pretty rad and fresh, kinda like a no-custom-scenery-or-scenery-at-all ("ncsosat") movement which I'll admit I have never seen before, interested to see where that leads though.
Are those supports based on a new B&M concept? They've been slowly pushing boundaries in recent years but entirely vertical supports seems slightly realistic, even for them. You have me intrigued, however. Carry on.
Thank you for taking time to post, and I do appreciate the criticism. Yes, the lack of any scenery is obvious, though my question was in regards to the track layout not absence of themeing. If trying to recreate a ride and you screw the track layout up before you even start themeing, I think you have missed out on an opportunity to adequately represent the roller coaster. Just my opinion though, thanks for sharing yours.
Honestly, at this point it would be nice to have some kind of thread where people can post layouts to get a feedback. We already have coaster classifieds, might as well throw that one in.
As for the layout itself; i've never ridden the original, but it seems a bit too big. But then again, it is very hard to recrate rides in RCT in a convincing way.
I've tried this layout a few times before and the larger loop like you've done here has always been better than trying to have the small one make do, so even though this is a tad on the large side I think aesthetically it works better. That last turn underneath the brake run does seem a bit big though. How's the pacing?

I don't mind honestly, I asked for criticism and he gave me some, albeit it wasn't directed towards my question. His follow up post is, and that is what I am looking for. The height is the same as the real thing, but it is 3 mph faster in game and the one in the screenshot above is about 1,000 feet longer. I believe the pacing is pretty good. It's going 20 mph through the top of the loop; however, it is a bit fast during the turn around through the loop. I am fiddling around with the "back half" at the moment. You're correct about the last turn. I made it slightly bigger to co-inside with the positioning of the last hill going up to the break run.
This is about all I have the patience for with scenery at the moment. It's not much, but for not really doing scenery at all on a regular basis, I don't think it's too bad.
I don't like the single block brake after the through-the-loop turn. MCBRs should have brakes leading up the the block brake. I realize that Iron Wolf/Apocalypse has a very short MCBR, but I still think it should have at least 2 or 3 brakes leading up the the block brake.
Thanks for your input. I wasn't actually sure if Iron Wolf had an actual mcbr or not. In order for it to run in block section mode, (which I happen to like and is necessary for 2 train operation) there needs to be one in there somewhere. Also at that point it is going a tad bit too fast to navigate the corkscrew without maxing the g forces out, so it slows it down a little, not too much though. After adding in some scenery, I have discovered that I need more space in-between the first drop and the corkscrew for the service road. So in essence, I believe that with just a few tweaks I can solve both problems relatively easily. I know the themeing isn't stellar, but without any custom objects this is what I have so far.
I had some idea of the station from pictures and arrived at this; however, I have found some videos that show a more encompassing view of the station and will work on it more.
I'm interested to hear any criticism about track layout for Iron Wolf/Apocalypse. I've not really gotten that much into scenery in RCT2, but I like roller coaster design and track layout in general. Thoughts?

I felt it was better than "needs more finish".

Nope.
Didn't make up for the douchey prior post.

This is a newer version of the back half.

Yeah that's already better. More flow, especially with the hill up into the brake run. The S-bend is a little iffy though, any way you can bank that?
G Force Offline
Bit better, however the turn is still a bit awkward and large. Try to get rid of the s-bend as well if you can.

I lowered the station a bit to make it fit, but I think it looks better.

I'd go with that one, nice work.
