Description
Hiya.
As you can probably tell, this is the same park as my most recent screenshot. Architecture work continues and I have some new buildings and finished areas that I'm pretty satisfied with, although they aren't the focus of this screenshot.
As you can also probably tell, this screenshot was taken with scenery hidden- most of this area is sheathed in glassy buildings in the style of my first screenshot of this park. I chose to take it with scenery hidden as I felt it showed the chaos I was trying to create best. There will definitely be more screenshots with visible scenery later.
I've decided to go into full out abstract mode, so I am only concerned with having something cool to look at. That means that I have stopped caring about making a park that is realistic in any sense.
I've flooded the paths with waaaay too many peeps and given them balloons and park maps (thanks OpenRCT2). The pathing system is obviously extremely inefficient and inadequate for the sheer amount of peeps in the park, but that's intentional, because I want the little soulless pigs to wander around and create as much motion as possible. Perhaps unbelievably, there are no black holes that I am aware of after a thorough fix-up session; just too many peeps everywhere.
The peeps get unhappy fast (I took this screenshot seconds after setting all guests' happiness to max, and look how unhappy they're already getting in the bottom right), but again, I don't care, they are only here to move around and throw colored balloons everywhere.
Anyway, this screenshot was my best effort at conveying the chaos of motion and colors I'm trying to create in a still image. The finished sections are actually pretty fun in motion, but they just don't look like much as a static picture.
I hope you could make sense of this ramble, I'm dead tired and am probably missing some stuff I wanted to mention. Oh well, I'm going to bed. - Full-Size
