Between this, Turtle's screen, and disneylandian's unsubmitted entry it appears that the improv round could have been unbelievable. Shame they couldn't have been completed and submitted...

I don't like that everything is the exact same shade of brown, as a result the area lacks depth. Otherwise this is very tastefully done.

Huge potential, but the balance between free flowing detail those large objects provide and the clear cut flatness of paths and rooves creates great disharmony.

Also the buildings are just kind of forcefully close to the ride but don't communicate with it, for instance through supports of the drop being incorporated into the architecture, and so the intended theming interaction seems false.

I like that drop. Otherwise i think it needs some more color and life. But great work though!

Sick atmosphere, some of the best seen around here in a while. Tho Kyle... that skull wall has the same effect that the giant cat head had on SoK :p

Whew, it's a good thing I didn't build this on a map like Kumba, that could've been terrible!

Thanks for the comments everyone, I'll hopefully be finishing this up sometime.

I don't like the roof that is made out of the same object as the paths. It's confusing. I also agree with Posix about the ride being too close to the buildings, they suppress the ride. Everything else is really good.

Almost looks like a different game.

and that is precisely why my heart will always belong to loopy landscapes.

regardless of how intricate the game evolves to be due to merged rides, trackitecture, codex, etc... LL will never lose its identity. whether you view work from '99, today, or 2033, you'll never find yourself questioning the integrity of the game.

loopy landscapes will always be authentic, through and through. long live it.

    A toast to that RMM.

Wow if the three unfinished entrys were finished this round would've been amazing.  It's nice to see builders having to experiment with new objects it's a great refresher to the normal NE Realism.  I'm in love with this screen, good layering, nice atmosphere, and I've always enjoyed a solid Caribbean/Pirates theme.  The only thing that bothers me is the roofs are the same as the path.  Hope to see a finished version of this in the future.
