This is the difficulty of LL. All of the interesting textures are roughly the same color and can't be changed. In RCT2, you could have more reds and oranges to keep the screen interesting throughout. But here, it's all shades of brown and tan. And there's not much you can do about that. Perhaps only adjusting the colors of the stalls would help, but I don't know if you can do that for the sake of realism. This is just a case of an extremely difficult theme to pull off in LL.
I'd love to see some of the wooden fences (like the reddish brown or dull brown ones) mixed into the rockwork or stonework, just to offer some variation. I know that Petra is generally a lot "drier" in terms of atmosphere than somewhere like Monument Valley or Bryce Canyon, but some sort of artistic liberty when it comes to the textures and colours here will help, especially since neither the coaster nor the stalls offer enough of a colour contrast.
