I get that they're supposed to be symmetric condos / townhouses / apts. or whatever, but the fact is that everything is just so square. I guess with the way it's laid out right now, there's not a lot you can do about it.
I love those backyards though - so quaint and atmospheric!
On a more serious note, this looks amazing. Love the atmosphere. Everything works so well together; the stadium, the backyards, the train tracks, the tall building etc. Really nice NCSO.
Stadium is great, the rest a little less so. I would ditch all the two-level houses and go with more skyrise stuff or like a drive-in. In my opinion the houses don't fit here; you've basically got a city-vibe with urban-housing in it.
I also don't quite understand the fencing, if it's sidewalk then there wouldn't be any fencing.
I'm also confused by some of the choices here. I don't know what you used for inspiration, but as far as my experience and knowledge goes this does not look like a real place in Germany. The terraced houses all share the same roof and shape, yet all the facades are different... If those things were built at once I don't think there would be so much variation in this manner in the facades. Sidewalk fences seem weird as well. And why is there so much red concrete? I think you forgot a sidewalk across from the stadium. I'd use a different path texture for the sidewalks, instead of a building blocks, by the way. Will look much smoother. Lastly: EVERYONE has covered their house in flowers?
Yes MCI, how dare you let yourself be inspired by a city you visit regulary instead of a city you have never (?) been before!
Assuming he wants to take on the urban feeling of a capital city, paired with trying to create a more or less realistic park + surroundings, getting inspired by Ludwigshafen is definitely the way to go.

To you Jan, I still think this is way to colourful. The housing terrace should be more monotonous IMO. The inside gardens seem fine though. Try to put some dirtgras underneath the team benches in the stadium, adds some extra detail. If the white markings can be done by brick fences, you could try to remove the green blocks and use normal gras / terrain blocks and a handyman to maw the lawn. Should look more beautiful
I got a "little" spare space on the map edge reserved for some city buildings a long time ago. Started building yesterday and I´m quiet fond of the way it turns out.

Both in Germany, just saying.
Also there are many cases of stadiums near low-rise residential developments. It's not unusual.

Thank you soo much AC!
Not that I dont appreciate critism, but sometimes I feel people are going out of their way to tell me I did something unrealistic.
I´m reworking the area though, trying different textures and stuff.
