Wow, supported already? You're fast... Coaster is a mess, as it should be. In this case I recommend making the background as simple as possible, the sand and grass doesn't go well together and makes the coaster look more messy than it should. Maybe add a few more theming elements in the less crowded places: top of the lifthill, helix on the right, station, the path front...
@Liampie: I build fast when I'm in the mood. Listening to the Smiler-soundtrack helped too, as did the fact that my gf was watching a boring romcom on tv... I tried to add theming, that's what the weird, pathetic looking attempt at a machine is with the purple smoke stacks. I'll see if I can rebuild it a bit. I wanted to recreate the real 'machine' of the smiler, but those arms required trackitecure which would make it look too messy.
@Coasterbill: I agree the path is not that interesting. I'll see if I can do something about it. Maybe I should've shown the complete area though, the path curves upwards on the right, but this isn't visible on this screen.
@Faas: Thanks, I'll see if I can change something about that.
No trackitecture seems like a good call, but I don't think you need trackitecture to make the arms anyway. Every bench has a bunch of poles, trims and pipes you can use.
I'm happy I got OpenRCT2 up and running, the built-in clearance option, and the way merging works made this a lot easier and faster than with the regular game. Glad to hear you like it!
Agree with Liam about the sand and grass combination, just go with sand. If I recall correctly the actual Smiler ride is lowered(?) in that you've got the surrounding path higher than the actual ride. Not sure how easy it'd be to change but if you could sink the coaster so it's below the path height I think that would look really great here.

Uhh.... The coaster IS lower then the path Very easy fix, I'll heighten the path, not lower the coaster
Okay, this is the final version after all the updates. I think the new 'machines' look great, the spiral thingy gives me a headache, so that fits the theme, but the heightening of the path made no real difference IMO. But I'll keep it anyway, those stairs kinda adds diversity to the path is so desperately needed.
I'm even considering using the original Smilet-theme as custom music... Considering, since I've already have two themes imported for this park. If only OpenRCT2 made a feature that you can import more custom music!
Coaster looks amazing supported. Love those machines as well. Nice job, would change the path type, I really don't think that brown path fits the theme.
Easkerton Towers's Smiler rip-off: Melancholica! Quite proud of it. It really was a hell supporting it, probably made a few mistakes, some parts maybe undersupported, but I'm going to let it be. It looks awesome the way it is IMO.

Cool coaster but I'd make the path around it a little more dynamic. It's controlled chaos but the perfectly straight path takes away from that.

Coaster looks cool. I think the entrance to the ride is a bit underwhelming. It's just a hole in the fence.

^Haha, I see that now. Make it more obvious then ie the brake run looks the same height as the path.

I really like the quirky scenery you're adding to this.
