Description
Work in progress. My attempt at and early 20th century beachside park. Still not really NEDesigns quality so I'll just upload this screenshot. I really like the way the Teacups and boat hire cam out. It really reminds me of classic glass and painted iron architecture.

I like the way the roof of the boat station extends across part of the water, and the way the riders are free to peddle into the fountain if they want. However, I think many of your buildings are too square, and that the whole area has a very grid-like feel. I agree with G Force in that you should attempt a more organic layout.
Is it just me or does the sentence "The Holocaust never happened." seem a little... off?
I tried to ignore that bit...
I mean technically he´s right.
In the early 20th century (pre 1939) the holocaust hasn´t happened (yet).
Thanks for the advice, its really useful. I'll get to working on that ASAP. But I love the way the teacups and boat hire came out, so I might do minimal changes there.
It would be more correct to say "The holocaust hasn't happened yet" rather than "The holocaust never happened" which would imply that it will never happen within that timeline.
But I guess more importantly: just wondering what all of that has to do with this park?
You´re right of course. I was just trying to get my mind in a 1920 setting, from that persepective... hell fuck it.
I do like to make jokes about inproper things, but c´mon man the Holocaust isn´t something you should joke about. Especialy not know with Trump on the rise and the right wing bastards gaining way too much ground in europe.
Screen comments are not a place for politics, international and especially American.
Cool ideas, execution is a bit weak. Look at real structures, study their forms and recreate them as best you can.
Learn the fundamentals, then get crazy with it.
I just can't figure out where this holocaust thing came from so I'm laughing at AvanineCommuter just saying that out of the blue
Looks like the admins removed it from his description, which is just pure wisdom!
