Description
This seems to be the most likely candidate for what I finish next. I'm really happy with the layout. Although it breaks some rules, I'd ride it. I kind of wanted to use giga track to really complete that Storm Runner comparison, but with all the inversions it would get so messy with merges alone, idk.
I took the canyon design from a micro park for a vegas hotel I think? can't remember who made it. It definitely gets messy in spots, but I like the new look it gives from traditional landscaping. This area with land blocks instead would feel completely different. Can probably cover up a lot of the mess with foliage/1k ruins.
Anyway, it's not a lot, but it's my first conventional project in years and I'm just really excited to shake off some rust haha. -

I'd integrate some other landblocks (ie 1k ruins) into the monorail, too much of it done in a large area is not going to look very good I don't think.
Who cares if it breaks the rules, it's a dope layout from what I can see. I agree with Stoksy though about adding some land blocks into the monorail though. Other than that, I can't wait to see how this project will turn out!
Also I'm not a great fan of coaster&supports colour. How about dark track with brown supports? I found this combination always works perfectly with sand/canyon theme thing.
That monorail works really well here! I would love to see some browns and tans mixed in, with some rocky outcrops/bushy foliage to break it up here and there. Right now it looks too perfect/lifeless. Keep it up though, very nice foundation.

@Stoksy - Definitely going to add more 1k ruins. Sticking to the monorail theme though.
@Slaymegaga - Yeah I'll add those in. Layout won't change no worries!
@Pierrot - Color scheme was inspired by Powderkeg, but I played around with black and grey for the main track, good suggestion. I think I'll keep the dull red supports, and the white may either be changed to grey and black, I like all three a lot though.
@Live - I expect I'll get a lot of complaints about real life innacuracies of the rollercoaster, not too bothered about it though. I tried the ja227 intamin looper trains but it fucked up the pacing.
@Disneylandian - Thank you! Definitely gonna put in more foliage, 1k ruins, and add some browns to the monorail track/ground texture.

i love that idea, but is it intentionally supposed to look that fake? regardless, i'd put some layers of color and some texture. especially on the flat parts. that coaster is baller though
