I think you should be going for a more vibrant colour. The faded red's colour intensity is just about the same as on the rocks and thus the supports sort of integrate with the rocks.
Why not try purple, dark pink or green supports? I think those would work quite nice. Or maybe light blue or green-blue ones to compliment the log flume.
consult with your friendly neighborhood Louis! For that layout.
The layout is better with that immelmann. And I assume it is better too without the awkward first corkscrew.
I was wary over the other 2 corkscrews in terms of the speed they could be taken at, but they should be ok.
The key to a Black Mamba style layout is to ensure the train is always quick, and in theory, should be quickest when it hits the last element.
For the supports, I like the red, but I think the brown goes so much better with the atmosphere, it makes it feel much more natural. I would keep the brown (boring I know) and add colour by having coloured lift supports like you have at the minute.
Nonono, not brown. Brown is an earth tone. All the rocks are in earth tones too. It blends in way too much. Same with the red although it's not necessarily an earth tone.
Once again, i'd much rather like to see more vibrant supports than these.
I'm a little unsure of how the batwing lays directly under the lift, but the rest is great. I like the idea of integrating simpler paths to show the idea of paths being craved out of the rocks, with just the bridges themselves being wood.
Make the trains 8 cars though instead of 9. Despite the fact that it's the game default there aren't any B&M inverts anywhere with 9 car trains (unless you count Alpengeist's zero car).
A sort of cross between Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Black Mamba, Talocan, Circus Circus, etc. Just for fun while I have some free time, and with the aim of being a bit experimental/non-conservative with scenery/rides/hacking/etc.

I like the brown for the natural feel it gives.

I worry about how far this will go before being abandoned and unfinished. Please prove me wrong.

you aren't a true parkmaker until you abandon all hope as soon as you get the title

^that is a detail I would not have though about, thanks
any other realistic details? My aim is for pretty pristine realism here, which is unusual for me.
