Remember Barefoot Park?
http://www.nedesigns.com/topic/27323/barefoot-park/
This is the topic Luketh made before NE5. Read through the topic to get the idea of the park.
He hasn't built in a long time, and since I loved this park back then, I have put it upon myself (with Luketh's permission) to try and finish this park, since it is right up my alley.
In this screen:
Blue Jay, suspended Arrow Coaster (Luketh)
Barefoot Carrousel (Luketh)
Entrance area, including shoe storage (Luketh/Faas)
Shoeless Sailors, Pirate ship (Faas)

Good lord, no one bitched like this when Luketh originally posted the idea.
Good work, Faas. Glad to see this being continued, as your style works really well for this. I'd love to see the idea of barefoot leisure pushed even further, maybe using picnic blankets instead of benches, or pillows on the ground. Something more beyond just a park on grass.

I think a lot more open archways and pole-and-stick structures might be fitting as well. I think an abundance of solid structures might weigh this down too much.

I study geography, so I know way to much of erosion + I´ve been to Wacken three times and I´ve seen what a good day of rain and some 10k humans can do to a beautiful green field in just a couple of hours.
BUT I dont care. It´s RCT ffs.
I still think the concept is amazingly fresh and cool even if it´s a few years (?) old now and if anyone is able to finish this thing in style after Luketh stopped, it is Faas! I like the screen, keep it going!

@robbie: People poked fun at the grass from the beginning -- go back and read through the thread, I got a good laugh at reading back through those comments.
But...
The facts don't lie, folks -- the most beautiful (and safe) park in the whole country... Whatever country it may be. The grass is well-manicured and patrolled by the best staff in the country; I trained them myself. Pretty soon, under Faas' new style of management, I imagine that Barefoot Park will be able to give Disney a run for its money as the "happiest place on earth" within a few updates.

Luketh, that response is gold.

Thanks Luketh.
Thanks everyone for the replies. I 'll comment on some individually.
robbie: Thanks, I think the people complaining should just kick of their boots and come chill with us at Barefoot park.
inthemanual: Thanks for the tip, I think that's also what Shotguns meant, sorry for misinterpreting you man.
I'll work with open structures more. Was also planning on doing that but I figured the entrance area could use some closed buildings.

That was the greatest response to a realism complaint ever.
