Yep, agreed with the gates too. I think it's the way they are the only round topped structure, and this makes them stand out. Nice work on the tropical feel of the area though. Very pleasant colours.
The pavilion seems odd, combining the thatch, glass, and steel, and not really connecting to anything. The rest of the buildings have some really nice colors, but are fairly messy texturally.

Making the pavilion all glass makes perfect sense in my opinion. Nice to see that your scale seems a little bigger as well. Entrance should be a lot more iconic if you take the entrance gate route.
