If that's the case it would be awesome. If the tool can do all that, we will be seeing a lot of cool new stuff for rct. I would even consider modeling myself, provided I can import common 3dmodel file types.
Currently the loader only handles .obj files, because their structure is very similar to what I'm using internally. I will probably add support for at least 3ds, and I might replace the loader code with a more heavy-duty library that can handle a wider variety of formats - right now, you can convert models in other formats to .obj with Blender (or most other 3D modelling software; it's a very common format, but probably not quite as popular as 3ds).
My aim is to have all the core features of the tool finished by the time I release this wing coaster. Then I'll be trying to get the tool stable, and then I'll look at writing up a tutorial for it if people are interested.
