heads up - there's two known models of that car - one holds only 8 people, the other holds 10 people... the 10 car would take up an entire block off to the side as well, while the 8 car would only take up and additional half of a block.
There's actually four models of the dive machine car - 6 across floorless , 8 across floored, 8 across floorless, and 10 across floorless. I'm doing all three floorless versions, and I might do two versions of the 6 across car (with and without water scoops).
The 6 across cars go on the standard B&M track (Twister coaster track in game), while the 8 and 10 across cars go on the Vertical Drop Coaster track. This is because IRL, the wider dive cars have wider track, and I want to allow for the possibility that OpenRCT2 might make this distinction at some point. Currently, though, the game uses the same sprites for both, which means you should be able to just merge in whatever track pieces you need from the other track style. It also means the 8 car wheelbases are slightly too wide for the track, but this is not as much of an issue as I thought it would be.
All versions of the dive machine will have a complete set of sprites. My rides in general have every sprite that can realistically be used even if there is no suitable track style in game - the waterslides have vertical loop sprites because of this
These are the latest iteration of the dive cars. I will probably make alterations to the spacing and pivot points but unless I discover any glaring omissions these are the final models.
