Yes they do, I wanted to create a Vekoma Junior style of coaster, just like the "Boomerang" in Toverland, I needed the minetrain for that. The Swartskopf track was the one that came the closest to the trackstyle used by Vekoma, but didn't have the lifthill and the brakes that I wanted, so that's why I took the juniorcoaster track for that.
Because if I simply put the minetrain car on it, the coaster will break down every minute. And dummystations, I'm not that advanced in hacking. I know how to do it, but not how to make it look pretty.
Dummy stations is way easier than merging. At least it is for me. But I definitely saw what you were going for here with the Vekoma kiddie coaster (the model is called roller skater I believe). But dummy station is definitely the way to go here.
