These facades look pretty good. But in order to make them look great, I would add some more 3-dimensional details, i.e. things that extend out over the pavement (mainly on the left). This may not be possible with this small of a scale, but I would at least try or consider increasing the scale a bit.
It's an improvement, sure, but damn why do people always build things so fucking flat?!
Scale is a little small, but if you're comfortable working with that scale then I'd recommend continuing at least for a little while before trying to increase it on your next park/design.
Marginal improvement. How about making ACTUAL buildings? Not fake facades surrounding an endless ugly flat roof? No, actual buildings with real walls, real roofs and real windows.
The facade thing is what makes sense for this kind of park, I think. Especially for the main street area. But I'd take Liam's advice as you move on from here.

This is actually the least helpful thing in this thread. It's like someone posting a screen of a inverter layout and I write him, that he should rather do a woodie. Of course I will built "real" buildings, but behind that part of the mainstreet is a simulator ride and a complete building:

The problem is, that I don't need real buildings here, I need fake ones. I will build "real" buildings on the other side probably. Plus I still don'r really understand. These facades have a roof, walls and windows, so how are these windows nor real, these walls not real and these roofs not real?
So this is my first draw for one side of the mainstreet. I know, that I'm all over the place in terms of architecture and stuff, but I thought it would be best to show it to you guys before settling on the wrong style.
reminds me a bit of dark_horse's stuff
thats nice stuff for your liga ^^
you try to build cso and it works.
well , its nothing special , but its a start and I WANT to see more.

Pretty good for your first CSO Mainstreet. The scale isn't the best and the facades look really flat but you can still change that.
And the improvement in skills just keeps on coming. Keep it up dawg!

Still looks a little to 2x2 to me, other than that it looks good.
Tried to give the mainstreet a little bit more depth and a more cohesive style. I like it better.
Nice improvement. Now add some things in the path in front for some spice!

Can't you change the street path to a crazy path or something...
^I agree. Needs more spice to the paths too: flowers, signs, maybe a stall.

liam's post is completely valid actually.
My problem is, that this:

is completely normal in both real theme parks and parks in RCT, sp that alone can't be the problem.
I really like it, I think it looks good. The big flat black roof looks bland, maybe add vents or something?
