It does when it comes to B&M and Interlocking corkscrews.
They've used the same set of interlocking corkscrews on every single coaster that uses them.
I wasn't being an arse about your layout, I think I actually gave you a decent comment. I was replying to liam with my last reply. And anyway, It's not wrong in terms of right or wrong, it's just wrong in terms of it doesn't achieve what has been set out to achieve.

That is completely irrelevant. Also, is this much different than how B&M has done it in the past? Corkscrew, turn, corkscrew in opposite direction. RCT interpretations vary.
This is the story of how RCT parks became more boring over the years.
I think the point that pierrot and Liampie are trying to make is that people should strive to build what they want to build, not what others think they should build (i.e. accolades). Yes, accolades and praise are nice, but it shouldn't be the main drive behind a park.
I'm not saying you should build it like this or build it like that. I haven't ever demanded this at all.
I was simply making a suggestion based on my own opinion.
And it's got nothing to do with realism. The way Pac did his interlockers in Starpointe wasn't exactly realistic, but that didn't matter to me because it had flow.
Again, i'm not saying this layout doesn't have flow, i'm merely backing up my point that a layout doesn't have to be realistic for me or others to enjoy it.
I think the reason I tend to take your advice with a grain of salt, Louis, is because of the way you present yourself. You presented your opinion by calling my interpretation/version "wrong." So yes, you basically did tell me I need to build a certain way. If you had called my version/interpretation "different" instead of "wrong," and suggested I try the normal B&M turnaround, then I would have more respect for your opinion.
I suppose, looking back I did come across that way.
I did give the screen a 60% though! which I think shows that I like quite a lot of it and that the layout, with a little bit if tweaking, is design quality.
I just urge you to finish something. You learn a lot by finishing things, even if they aren't at the quality you one day hope to be. You have a lot of potential, I think to help reach that potential you should consider just churning a few things out
Yeah, I really want to finish something. I do have at least one project that is near completion, so hopefully I can finish that soon. Although, I'm not really a fan of the layout anymore, there are definitely things I want to keep. These may find their way into a new design.

It looks pretty good man. The helix around the first drop might be a bit to big though.

Layout is great, up until the turn around the first drop.
Oh and the turnaround between the two corkscrews is wrong for interlocking corkscrews.

Uninspired, but not bad. Definitely passable.
How can a coaster layout ever be 'wrong'?

^when someone is going for a realistic coaster design and uses an element that isn't realistic - that's when it can be 'wrong'

Just because it's not traditional doesn't make it unrealistic...

I fixed it. Even though I really hate this layout the more I look at it.

However, the highest scoring park ever and first Spotlight in a long time here is hyper-realist.
