Description
Westport's gotta have a port right?
So I originally had a tiny ass crane and 1/4 tile cargo containers. But, my artistic vision (yeah I'm gonna cite that now) aimed for really massive and overdrawn scale in the Westport city, and I think this does a way better job of that. The cranes being so close makes their structures look a tad chaotic, but I think overall it suits a good direction and purpose. It looks much better next to the huge buildings in Westport. Very pleased with how it turned out. - Full-Size

Seeing as how I've always wanted to build gantries in this game, I find this fantastic. I would maybe consider adding some sort of trim seams to them, though, to offset the appearance of them just as stacked quarter-tile blocks. I think doing the same to the containers as well could help delineate forms much more cleanly.

Two ideas to bring this even closer to perfection:
1. Connect the vines to the ground for realism
2. Replace the floating barrels by colourables

The scale of these is just immense, perhaps too much. Would have to see them with the rest of the park, but overall, very well done.
Definitely suggest adding some more details. These kind of structures are all rivets and welded metal, some deco trims and such will go a long way.

Liam, Port Park, you and I, H2H7. Let's do it. First cross-team park.

You guys can't encroach on my #thatguyoriginal
I think you guys nailed it though. Trims on the containers and 'gantries' (learned a new word today) could really bring it together. Also forgot how vines work.

Needs some ladders and platforms for crew to walk around on and using track rather than pole objects would be less glitchy.
Otherwise this is fuckin awesome. I love the stacks of containers. Reminds me of both Iron Man 3, Red and iRobot. Actually there are tons of movies set in industrial ports. Iron Man 3 has the most to do with cranes tho.

Wasn't DAW a port park?
Agree about adding details, scale might be too big.

Truly impressive.

^I dig.
I think if you guys go look at the bridge screen and some of the downtown screens (train station and courthouse and the suicide) the scale won't feel out of place. Put more simply, not going to change a huge decision like scale.

I think I'm in love...

Epic! Once the minor details as dictated above such as ladders and rivet style metal finish this will be truly awesome.

detail is over lvl 9000!
Great job again!@

Agree with Fk about the scale here, hopefully it works with the rest of the park because otherwise it might kill the atmosphere a little. Nonetheless, form is very impressive and I love the barrels and coloured water in the bottom right.

spectacular.

This project is so incredible.

I would imaging the cranes, or whatever they are called, be rusty and faded. The purple and orange are kind of overwhelming and break the atmosphere for me.

G Force while I understand where you're coming from, here are some real gantry cranes:
