Really nice stuff. It's got a lot of castle-like pieces, giving it some grandeur, but without actually making it look like a castle, so that's an impressive point. I think you've used the roofs very well too.
I've got to say though, I think the two of us are definitely building on similar benches and in a similar way at the moment, from the little balconies right down to the stripy pot
Kind of a weird mix of NCSO and CSO, which seems to work here. I'd be wary of using too many of that wooden roof texture though as it looks a bit odd to me sometimes [especially when using brighter colours like the white and light brown that you are].
Some nice arches, but I'd love to see you do something else other than a trench of water - would look better as some sort of fountain piece I think.
I really like this, very cool with a classy feel to it. I was thinking of building an entrance area myself today and this has inspired me to do so. I will agree with the above comment though in that the trench is a bit lackluster and perhaps something more eye catching could have been placed there, as suggested a fountain.
Great feedback. I will definitely be ditching the trench. I am generally an NCSO player, though I have dabbled in CSO from time to time, this is my first attempt at a complete project in it. So I'm sure many of the NCSO "tricks" are still going to end up in there architecturally. But I am trying to expand my palette at least.
Either way, lots of good responses, definitely gives me motivation to move forward and try to finish this. Thanks!
I like this a lot... I sort of wish the entrance plaza was larger but it's no big deal and kind of impossible given the size of the map without re-doing everything.
I agree about the trench but you've already addressed that. PLEASE finish this. I like it a lot.
Entrance to my new park, Midland Manor Amusement Park. Basically an old estate manor that has been re-purposed by the children of the original owner into a small to medium-size amusement park.

For a split second I thought this was NCSO and got super excited.
Still excited tho. This looks great. Just wish it wasn't so close to the map edge.

Good forms. Maybe a little messy. I'd be careful about putting bricks and heavier materials above wood and lighter things.

I wish the paths were larger, feels a bit claustrophobic. Otherwise, the entrance building is really nice.
