I don't know how you do these. I always try to build on the scenarios but I never get anywhere, I try too hard to get something to look nice, which wastes time, which means no completion.
Do you manage to do it all at the same time? Or do you go about cleaning up and looking good after?
Cause with a year being roughly an hour, you don't have hardly any time lol
Mostly I just try to make some money and to secure that I finish the scenario first, without screwing up the landscaping too much. And then while I wait for October, year 3 (in this case year 4) to come, I just build some stuff that looks nice and add some fencing and scenery and foliage.

Ah, so you do complete the scenario first and then have fun building attractive stuff.

Well, with the original scenario's especially, you will have the right amount of guests after like 1,5 years or so and a good amount of money as well. Then you can just spend the other 1,5 - 2,5 years making it look a bit better.
This looks so good. I need to play the scenarios more.
