foliage is really nice here, i can't remember exactly if you had any foliage in it yet when you send it to me, but it really makes it feel alive. seriously it's pretty good. the landscaping is very cool too, though it could use some other textures and definitely needs less brown. the building is quite good too but if i were you i'd remove the dormers on the roof
Any suggestions to mix in some other colors? I realize there's lots of brown, but usually rock faces are brown. Maybe add some more grasses, or possibly the grey quarter tile in some areas? I'm open to suggestions.
Wow, you've come huge strides in just like, 8 months or so since you first posted on /r/rct? This is not only a huge step up, but very nice in general. I would suggest making the rapids track invisible and possibly making it ride a coaster track for smoother curves. A lot of the building's brown could be swapped out, but still, nice work.
This looks like how i used to build. Some it it looks like it could fit right into Nemica, lol.
Best advice i can give you is what i took. Brown can be dull. Try to add more green to ur landscaping. The trick with quarter tile landscaping is making it look natural, thus thinking how the earth would fall and weather over time, and adding some more textures like grey rocks to vary it up. A good start though, and a creative layout.
Good work man! Making an all quarterblock landscape is really hard to pull off, but I think you did really well. This is up there with the very best quarterblock landscapes at the site. It's very brown indeed but I honestly don't mind much. I think the colours overall are good, the foliage and the restaurant compliment the brown nicely. It's the rapid's colours that are off. How could you pick purple!?
I'm with Liam, the brown doesn't particularly bother me but the purple is really throwing off any 'natural' vibe that you've got going. Personally, I'd go with the stock rapids colours [yellow and black boats and grey (for colour) rails].
Other than that, it's pretty good. Not a fan of the grounded flowerboxes though, doesn't make sense to me. Normally you'd just have plants on the earth at ground floor wouldn't you?
Everyone on board for straight grey rails for the rapids ride? Any other suggestions? I'm still trying to figure out the color mixes in the game, it's a WIP for sure. As for the brown, I may toss in a bit of grass spots, or grey rocks, we'll see.
Excellent rock work, and I agree that rock and grass spots would help with breaking up the colour. I also agree that another rapid colour would suit better. Grey should work, but I think other colours would look good too (I think it might just be a case of experimenting, as you said, but I'd try colours that match the foliage or other parts of scenery you've added). At the moment though, it's looking rather electric, which doesn't quite fit.
My first screenshot post on NE. I've been picking away at this small park constructed around a small island. The waters are loaded with caverns & rock archways. Let me know what you think.

I'm glad to see a new member that doesn't think the steel roof is the only one available. Cool screen!

Yea, maybe change the building color, sprinkle in some grey rocks perhaps, would help loads.
