Reminds me of the Canary Mines scenario in RCT1. Cool stuff! I like the concept but the shift to sand is very abrupt. Add some little rocks around the base of the mountain.
This screen is amazing, extremely sexual, only problem is, when looking at this screen, my eyes literally don't know what to focus on. The differentiation between what is land and building and minetrack is so small that in many cases the amazing details you have here get lost. Something as simple as changing building colors and adding in heavier foliage options could really enable this screen to go from "conceptually brilliant" to "visually brilliant"
I agree with FK... nothing to focus on. I realize the main structure is the mountain but it blends in way too well. Try using a few different colors on only that section of the terrain. This all looks amazing
I too agree with FK. But can we appreciate what this would look like in-game? If those mine carts are moving in-game, this would be incredible. And the layout (or what we can see) of the B&M likewise is awesome. Very well done.
@Navalin: Cheers man, and also yeah, Just noticed that support, There are still alot of supports in that area to go.
@MorganFan: Yeah it is very abrupt and your right some stones n shit would break it up a little, Basically the sand is like a dryed up riverbed as the river used to flow past here before the dam was built.
@FK: Wow lol "extrememly sexual" is a phrase I wouldn't expect to see when describing rct haha. I guess with the focusing on things I want your eyes to look at the whole thing as a collective, Not to notice individual parts. Which I guess sounds silly when there is alot of small details over the place but I hope you get what im trying to say.... May change the terrain in some parts, Cheers.
@MrBrightside: Same as above really and thanks.
@Coasterbill: Cheers man and I do try lol...
@Faas: I love it too.
@Choco: Yeah cheers man, It would crazy to ride this thing, walkways and mine tracks overhead, flying through the mine and buildings.
@CSW: Good I want it to be messy.
@RCT2day: Yeah it looks better in-game, There are 'souls' of the dead wandering the walkways. The minecarts don't actually move but it could be looked into. Cheers bud.
Great stuff man, loving the interaction with the mountain and mine carts. I think I've already told you how I feel about the mine shack roofs but aside from that this is awesome.
oh shit didnt even see your reply there. matty, cheers bro. yeah the mineshacks roofs you mean the colouring of them?... They are just supposed to be roofs created from any shit lying about you know. so its just, Hey this peice of ole steel will do.... Yep that'll do. kinda thing going on. Its a mine the whole deal was to make money not spend it.....
The mine where millions were made and suddenly millions lost, After the mineshafts collapsed It was abandoned. Leaving only the ghosts of those who died behind....

I love how the coaster winds through that mountain.

Brilliant! Crazy interaction all over the place, and lots of bits and pieces to look at and work out. The TNT crates add a great splash of colour too.

All the quarter tile landscaping makes it a bit messier than it needs to be.

It looks impressive but I too agree that it's a compositional disaster. Don't mean to be a bitch but I would actually ...start over.
