to be honest i don't even know what kind of architecture this is supposed to represent, sure the left looks kinda meso-american but the right just looks like a spanish, perhaps colonial ruin. try to stick to one historic style if you don't go completely overboard with the fantasy thing.
Here's an update. Added some thickness, texture, and color to the top of the tree, and some more architecture. Also changed the paths, which helped a lot.
The grey path is really distracting and in your face. The immelmann also really sticks out like a sore thumb.
Simple fix: Replace the grey path with something that will blend in (how it should with this sort of theme) this will also fix the immelmann situation (as currently there is too much contrast, without the grey path, the track will contrast nicely)
Maybe it would help make the tree and coaster blend with everything else better if you work them together. Even just a simple twisting overbanked turn around the tree.
Gray is bad, Brown is bad, what else do I do? A darker Gray like the gray crazy path? A mix of the two colors, perhaps two-toned tiles, or the LoTR minas tirith path?
The flames are the ones from the Xtreme97 bench. I didn't parkdat them in.
interaction between the two would make some of the additional theming I have planned very difficult. very very difficult.
I never said brown is bad. Brown is the right colour to go for. What you had before fitted in perfectly. Ignore the people that say there was too much brown, its applicable for this theme.
the tree is better than before, but still the shape doesn't work for me. i think you can keep adding more bushes. don't be afraid to work in different foliage objects, vine walls, reeds, trees even, to thicken the canopy out. the trunk is great though.
I've been used like six 2x2 oaks on the canopy. Definitely still needs to be bigger though, I agree with everyone there, it's just really hard to get this to look right.
Tried my hand at this older project again. Trying to hit a more jungle, hidden, ruined vibe than before. Also wanted to do some giant trees because why the fuck not?

Dislike the tree still.

what are those flames? there not the standard
I actually like this more. I like the path and the contrast the coaster's colors give it. The tree, though cleaner, could be better still.
