You give off so much negativity, no wonder no one wants to leave you comments.
I will though, as you seemed so concerned about improving.
This area is blocky, unfocused, and generally uninspired. Your forms are simple, you have no details or general purpose, you have used a variety of themes without adhering to any of them properly, and the unfinished nature of the screen make this come across as hallf-assed.
Source material is vital in modern RCT, you need to look at how other players build, their forms, their focuses, and their themes. Watching this process may help you find a direction to your work so you can plan and execute an area with a goal and vision of what it will look like. It is more important you know what you want to build, this will inspire you to look up new ideas and concepts to better achieve your goal.
But the first thing you need before any of that is a better attitude. No one is going to ever help you get better if you are rude and whiny about rct. When your work shows promise people will reward it, if you complain people will ignore it, and you won't ever progress beyond this screen. End discussion
I must say that everyone else is being disrespectful here too, especially Faas and definitely not only Version1.
Dude, just because people don't like your work you don't instantly have to quit, right? Just keep on working, finish something then submit it. Surely a lot of people here started out like a noob. When people say what they don't like about your screen, you should try and improve it, not go all like "you guys hate me i quit!!!", hate and critisism are a world apart.
Yeah Faas, 3x comment nothing but insults... I cant criticise your work but your attitude stinks, especially towards stuff you dont like or think is up to standard, Sure you have a right of opinion, But stop with the snide comments and give constructive criticism rather than just posting cheap digs, Wasnt so long ago people werent commenting on your screens was it.. Have some respect.
Version: Its a good start here, I myself don't really like big building as an "entrance and exit" Reminds me of a busy main street where you can't move but for banging into people, maybe add like 2 exit paths either side with souvenir n gift shops, It would mean having to move the 2 buildings either side of it, A few tiles over but its no biggy, But apart from that whats there is decent, If your gonna have that castle as the middle of the map then i'd carry on the "moat" all around with another bridge at the back end of it. Also you shouldnt just build a small part of something and think "This isnt how i wanted it to be i'll just delete it", You think the best builders do that, They dont, They get the "This isnt exactly what I wanted " part but build on it and improve it. If you keep going you will get ideas for a part of the park you where building on the day before when you didnt have a clue what to build next. At times it can be easy, other times it isnt, But that just the rollercoaster ride your on, no pun intended. Anyway keep building, I wanna see this exact screen in 2 weeks time with a huge improvement, Im sure everybody else does too.
Well I wanted to give criticism, but I didn't have time since he already threatened to stop RCT for the fifth time before I even got the chance to comment. Version1 doesn't listen to criticism anyway, since he hasn't incorporated the tips he has been given the past years/months and instead is too busy crying and whining about how nobody likes him. He even admitted he is just making a scene so his screens get more comments. So I don't know who the one without respect is.

See a connection? If I don't improva t all, or use the tipps you guys give me at all, maybe I should just quit? I felt like this was up to a better start than some of my old projects, but you basically say that it's equally bad, so why should I ocntinue building RCT? I mean I enjoy playing it, but I don't enjoy building absolute crap.
Or you could use the tips people give you instead of trying to make a scene. Get inspiration from other people's works, take criticism, implement suggestions. Do what S_F said and improve as much as you can on this screen.
I didn't want to comment on this because I didn't want to validate you throwing a fit. But I also don't want anyone leaving this community, it's small enough as it is. Except maybe Wouter.
If you don't like modern CSO, which is definitely understandable, try working with the Pro Tour 2 bench. Large comprehensible objects like you're used to from NCSO building, but with more colour and texture possibilities. My latest screen was built with the PT2 bench. It's a lovely bench with the right balance between fast building and freedom.
If you want to improve, take desperate measures. Try to build in someone else's style. When I came to the community in 2005 all I wanted to be was another Paul 999 or PBJ or artist. I never succeeded, but it helped me to find a style of my own that I'm good at.
Also something to consider: never build without an idea. Make the idea clear. I don't know what the idea behind this screen was. There's a long hangar that serves no real purpose other than covering the path, then there's a more traditional small building in the front with entertainers on it, and two extremely basic and extremely low buildings. Then there are fortifications. Apparantly four different themes/styles in the same area. Of course it's a mess!
Are you making an entrance area? First think of the function of an entrance area. You need wide paths (because it will be CROWDED), multiple ticket booths, gates, toilets (you already have them, but they're hidden in a corner and almost underground), guest relations office, stuff like that. A square with paths branching off in multiple directions is always nice to have directly after the entrance. Or a main street. But whatever you do: to tie the whole thing together, stick to ONE style. This is crucial to not end up with a mess.
I trust you that your next screen is not an unfinished roman castle hangar with underground restrooms. Otherwise it's probably not worth my time to ever help you with your screens again.
Think and take your time to come up with something. Doesn't have to be good, but at least THINK.
Alright, I can see where you are going, though I do believe it was simply poorly executed. There's a great foundation, and understanding you don't like custom scenery objects, I fall within that same category. Here's some things to consider.
1. I could use some more info on the castle to make a judgment on that, I simply don't have enough information.
2. The monorail station, though I believe you have the basis of a structure, probably won't work for you. The building probably should be moved by quite a bit and rotated 90 degrees to fit long-term needs. It will be cheaper that way.
3. The remainder of the plaza is looking good, Once the building containing the monorail station fits the monorail station, you will understand that some more varied buildings will fit, and will partially break up the monotonic nature of this plaza. The building can be longer than the station, but make sure you can fit 7 monorail Mark VI cars in that station (you should know what I'm talking about with what type of monorail car I'm referring to that's in-game). Once that's dealt with, remaining station space can be used as well as the space created for other buildings that belong in the entrance plaza.
First of all, thanks for the advice, I really appreciate it. Maybe I will be able to use it for once, since I seem to be resistant to learning in RCT.
The thing is, that I'm completely frustrated about my building skills. Going to Theme Parks is my favourit hobby, and not being able to convert everything I witness in Theme Parks into the game really sucks. Every time I ask Jonny93 about how he is able to build so good, both in CSO and NCSO, he tells me, that he finds it very easy, while I don't seem to be able to take a basic concept out of a park into the game. Hell, I can't even really understand Jonny's NCSO work by looking at it. I mean, I see what he did, but when it''s my turn to build I just don't know what I should do with the objects and so on. You all talk about "adding details" but I fail to understand which details I should add and which just don't make sense.
The fact is, that you guys helped me a lot, but for some reason I got worse, and I have absolutely no idea why. I mean I always understand what you want to tell me, but as soon as I'm ingame my brain just seems to be empty. Even if I really do progress in a park (as whitnessed by the "Golden Gate Theme Park") I'm unable to convert my idea of a theme park into the game, just because I'm unable to build the way I want to build.
I will try to read your advice again, and possibly take a look into the Pro Tour 2 Bench. I really hate to bother you with my shennanigans, but I doubt I will get any better if I don't. And getting better is the only thing I want to achieve in RCT. I don't really care for getting Accolades or Designs, but I want to clearly see, that I'm getting better at this, and that's a feeling I lost after releasing "Golden Gate".
Adding details could be anything. On this screen there isn't much to look at, it's just one giant grey-red building. It's really just nothing but grey wall and coaster track. Think about what details a building has. Surely it should have windows? Roof trims? This applies to everything really, not only buildings. Don't just add a few walls and a generic roof, detail them with something! A hedge, a fence, windows, flowers, chimneys, trims, et cetera. Don't just add one continueous detail, such as every wall having a window. Mix it up with different details. Spread them out. If you'd only add a few windows to your futuristic barn, it'd already look a lot better.
If you don't know what to do with your objects, experiment. Lets say you'd want a, lets say, lamp in your park, brainstorm what objects could look good as a lamp. Try out different objects, mix them, hack them into the ground, zero-clearence them onto your paths, do whatever. Just keep on going until it looks good.
What some of you need to realise is that NE isn't a group of super kind "RCT teachers" that will spoonfeed you to greatness. This site has been a group of worldwide elite players competing against each other's parks. For 12 years.

That's a weird concept, because NE is basically the only RCT2 site and it certainly shouldn't be a site for "elite" players. If you want that, then this site will be really empty.

It wasn't a weird concept 12 years ago, and it's a concept that we have always stuck by and always will. It gives us great results. We have a continued loyal membership that makes the community here incredibly warm and friendly. We continually have the best parks ever made as well as the highest quality screenshots.
Now that isn't to say we don't encourage new members or want any new members, we certainly do, and we are getting them, and welcoming them. But without that quality focus that we have stuck by, we wouldn't be here, because our membership would consist of people coming and going so quickly, that we would be sustainable (much like all the other RCT sites that have now disappeared)
The difference now is that we have evolved, and will continue to do so, as we are the only remaining website that is totally dedicated to RCT (besides reddit, which doesn't really count as solely dedicated). We stick by our original ethics, but we have new ones to encourage our newer members and try to ease them into our way of life.

I hate CSO. You have 100 Objects and I don't have any ideas what to do with any of them

You don't know what to do with your NCSO objects either.
