The building is way too long. Besides that, it doesn't look like an entrance but more like some futuristic-type barn. I do like how you stashed the toilet and information buildings in the ground there sorta, they look nice but i don't think they fit at a park entrance though. And those entertainers? How do they get up there? The building they're in isn't themed after them either. Having it somewhere else in the park would make way more sense.
I think your work would be much better if you built smaller buildings. All of those are quite large but smaller, more varied buildings would make this look much better.
You did some of that here (they were just facades but still... that's fine) and it looked much better.
That roof doesn't really work, there are huge holes in it. Furthermore a bit of detailing would actually make people want to visit this park. But I don't know why I'm giving tips, since you are stopping RCT.
What I don't get, is you seem to have this massive desire to be seen, to have your work approved.
You shouldn't be like this. You should build because you enjoy it, and when you enjoy it, it will show in your work, showing a desire to also improve. This will then provide you with more comments because people will want to help you out because you want to improve and enjoy building and sharing your work.
The previous work you have shown on this site has been 10x better.
At the end of the day, if you are going to be negative about your own work, people aren't going to want to give feedback. Show passion, and we will respond.

No, the thing is, that usually bad players don't get any comments if they don't do that. I've released screenshots and parks with less than 2 comments. How the fuck should I improve with that? Apparently, making a scene is the only way to get some response here, if your screeen isn't really good.
What I'm trying to say is that previously your work has been of a decent quality and has gained quite a few comments.
Since then you seem to have worsened in quality, and this I believe is due to you not finishing screens enough, in a quest to show what you have done as soon as possible. As previously your screens have shown a lot of content.
This screen is Year 4. That suggests on average you've spent around 4 hours on this. Now, if I were you, I would go away and work at least another 4 hours on it, to improve it to a more finished level, actually giving us something to comment on.
You have been here at this site now for 2 years. You know what is expected of you when you post a screen (and I don't mean quality). You know that you need to post a screen that shows enough content to get replies.
You cannot sit here and bitch everytime you don't get enough replies when you haven't provided a screenshot with enough content or effort put in to have people actually want to respond to you.
I don't mean to be harsh, but as a member that now knows enough of this website, you should have a better attitude than you currently have.
Even so Louis, I do have to partly agree with Version1 here - I've noticed a lot of screens from newer, developing members that aren't quite up to "NE quality" yet, and their work receives much less in the way of feedback. Take, in comparison, geewhzz's latest screen: 30 comments, with many of them just saying how brilliant it is. He knows, and we all do, that there's not much needed in the way of improving that screen, if at all. Naturally, people are drawn toward the screens that appeal to them, thus some get ignored. And this screen only has 11 comments because, as Version1 said, he's making a scene.
Anyway, about the screen: I'm getting a lot of mixed themes here, with a rather sinister looking station building, a generic plaza area, then a castle. I think you need to develop each area and colour scheme a bit more, and basically fill up the large empty spaces. The wooden track roof is in itself quite an interesting shape though, and I'd like to see similar experimental roofs on nearby buildings.

Ofc you would say that. You can finish an area and post it, because it will most likely up to standards and you know, how good it is. I post unfinished screens because I want to know, that NE is thinking. For me, it's just a stupid job to finish this area, with forest and so on, and then being told, that the big building sucks. The way I do it know, I can fix something before actually having to chance half of the park.
Naturally, people are drawn toward the screens that appeal to them, thus some get ignored.
I don't disagree with this, and I can't force people to comment on things. What I'm pointing out is that version's earlier screens grabbed a lot more comments because they were more finished.

I'm not asking for a fully complete area, I'm just saying a little bit more content and you'll find you get more replies, show that you've put effort in, and people will make the effort to comment, just like they have done with previous screens of yours.
The thing is, you are saying you don't want to have to change half of what you have already built. Fair enough, but 1) that is how you improve and 2) no one ever asks you to change whole areas, they just suggest ways to improve. For example, no one would tell you to remove that giant building in this screen, they will suggest ways to improve it.
I'm trying to help you, I'm trying to suggest ways of getting more comments. You can't complain about a lack of comments when there isn't really anything to comment on.
And I agree with you on that, Louis, and unfortunately that's the way it's likely to stay.
That being said, I'd take note of this fact, Version1, and realise that if a screen isn't receiving attention, that's a comment in itself - that there's nothing interesting enough the screen to warrant commenting on. With a single/few standard buildings, this often happens as nothing stands out enough in a positive light. At least with a completed screen, even the bad parts will stick out, and it's then that people can comment upon how to improve those parts to bring them up to the standard of the rest of the area.

What really pisses me of is not the criticism, it's the annoying habit to vote 5% or something and not commenting

Go back to that (and stop worrying about screenshot ratings).

A few more details on the buildings and a bit less of the dark hedge fence and it'll be at least bronze quality. Keep building.
