I'm really not a big fan of the green roof, it's throwing everything off for me. The form of the roof is fantastic, and the building itself is simple but effective, but the green just isn't doing it for me.
I was the same as you Trav, but after looking at it long enough the green really starts to 'work.' I would perhaps argue that the blue you suggest wouldn't really fit particularly well with the white and black trim on the building (the picture you showed is a lot lighter, with the gold and blue complementing each other really well). In my opinion the only other colour that could possibly work would be the green used on the walls of the undercover portion, but then there would probably be too much of that. Although maybe blending it in a little more could be an idea...
Was thinking about that awkward cutaway on the castle; I think you're going to have to either use an arch of some sort (the objects used for the bridge would be adequate) or try to suggest that the coaster has 'broken through' the building by adding in some ruins and making the cutaway a little less clean.
Probably one of my favourite screens from this project; keep it up Rob!
Like i said before the green isn't working for me. It's good that you make it stand out with the colours but i think some other colour could work as well. Maybe try a red roof, they can be found a lot in traditional japanese architecture but so far you haven't used a lot yet so it can still stand out.
As i told you, i think this is magical. Japan is now my favorite section in the park i think. Only things i'm not a fan of on this screen is the hole in the right tower where the coaster goes through (but i have no idea how to fix that without moving the entire tower or coaster, i'll keep thinking on it) and the deco trims that are glitching over the track when it comes out of the building, imo those pieces are not necessary enough to warrant the ugliness of the glitch.
All right, wow, guys, the green is perfect. Light blue? Against the green of the show building? Awful. What Rob has done is incredibly subtle and tasteful and I can't even think of a color that would work better. Rob, if you think you should give it a slight makeover, I would suggest the dull red for the roofing. It seems cliche, but it COULD compliment the green walls and pink trees nicely. Regardless, you're a master of your craft dude. Ignore the haters.
colours are perfect, not sure what everyone is whining about. such a fantastic building, framing the coaster perfectly. maybe the coaster could be another colour, but the black looks great already.
Clearly well researched and lovely to look at. Well thought out too, or at least well crafted from inspiration if there wasn't much planning.
As far as the comments go, at this point it's not about how to make it better, because it accomplishes exactly what it set out to do. Now it's just people with different opinions arguing. May the person that holds their hands over their ears and shouts the loudest win.
So very clean and precise, as always. I love the colors of the coaster, the blue really pops against the black. Can't wait to see more of the queue. I really enjoy the use of two scales of brick walls by the water, it's really effective.

I'd maybe even try a light blue as seen here:

It just feels so sterile.
Oh and the K0NG diagonal wall is still hideous, as it has always been.

Wow. yes!
Love how interactive the queue is, and that facade on the show building is gorgeous.

This coaster may end up having the best interactive queue since Nemesis Inferno in Thorpe.
