what a great debut! it's a shame you weren't around for pro tour 4, this could've done well in the best transport system category. the train tracks look really good and the trains themselves even better, no large complaints there. to be honest i actually think you nailed it.
foliage could use some work though, i don't know wether it's the unfinishedness or not, but the trees lack underbrush and some more trees wouldn't hurt either
Yeah, this is definitely a work in progress. I have quite a ways to go with everything I have planned. I plan to ad more foliage among other things. Thanks for the feedback.
This is wonderful, the scale here is so big but it works fantastic, and the train (dare i say sculpture) is perfect. The tracks are also so well done. Only complaint would be that those trains couldn't ever make those sharp turns on the tracks. Would look more believable if you used something more "s" shaped and gradual, like diagonal lines, or GW's street lines.
@ csw - Yea, because I see CSX trains almost everyday at work. I live in GA. This project is going to be loosely based on the fairgrounds that just happen to be located near a CSX train yard in my city. The yard is just really serving as a back drop.
Living in Pittsburgh, I see CSX (and NF&S) around all the time. This is insanely accurate and one of the coolest things I've seen on this site in ages.

Wow I love this. Excellent work...

Of all the railroads, you choose CSX...
Deleted the other screen. Here are its replies

@Liampie - Thank You.
As much as I like those train tracks, I doubt those 90° turns are that realistic for trains...? So maybe you could make them more flowing...
Otherwise nice stuff!
"MFG"
We have anotherrr!!!!
Yeah that's my only issue with it. Really amazing job otherwise. Keep it up!

The trains themselves are very nice.
I think the trains are marvelous as well. It's probably just that I see CSX locomotives every day and I've gotten pretty bored of them, lol
You're perfect
We'll be in touch
I just think the scale is off and it's too noticeable. Trains taller than trees?
