Description
The Masters Palette is a collaborative effort by many of the members in the RCT Masters Club.
An idea originated by Mama Bear, the project consists of four canvases showcasing artistic impressions of famous artwork, RCT 2 style. With coasters and other rides designed (and sometimes themed) by different members, the final artistic theming touches are added by master themer Mama Bear herself!
As mentioned previously, there will be four canvases, each themed to different movements in style through the ages. The canvases are divided as follows:
The Classical Canvas:
- Great works of art prior to the 19th Century.
The Impressionist/Fauvist/Surrealist (IFS) Canvas:
- Late 19th Century art featuring the expanded usage of brilliant colors.
The Modern Canvas:
- Bizarre Art of the 20th Century
The Miscellaneous Canvas:
- Artistic works not falling into the other stylistic categories.
This project has taken a long time to complete, as it was started back in January 2003, but alas, it is almost complete. Please check back for updates, and the release in Spring 2005....errr, Fall 2019!
Thanks,

An overview of the Clasical Canvas:
Primarily focusing on artists prior to the 19th Century, this canvas features some of the great works of the Baroque and Renaissance periods.
Featured Artist by last name (and RCTM member) responsible for the rides/theming. In some areas, Mama Bear assists with theming in addition to the named member.
Hieronymus Bosch (KaiBueno)
Leonardo Da Vinci (RCTNW)
Michelangelo (Spiderman)
Raphael (Ice Dragon)
Rembrandt van Rijn (Ice Dragon)
Titian (Mama Bear)
Note: These works originate on maps/objects from January 2003, with very little to no usage of parkdat to revise. All works are impressions of the artist via RCT2, not exact replicas. The spirit of the project is art appreciation, and applying that to RCT2! The works on the Classical Canvas were primarily painted in 2003-2005.

An overview of the IFS Canvas:
First of, IFS is really a mouthful. IFS = Impressionist/Fauvist/Surrealist. Yeah. IFS it is.
This canvas shows us artists from a period stretching from mid 19th century to well into the 20th century. Truly a revolutionary period that really turned the old concept and values of art up-side down!

An overview of the Modern Canvas:
The more eccentric canvas of The Masters Palette, the Modern canvas is a celebration of the bizarre artistic styles expressed in the 20th Century. Color usage varies from the most brilliant combinations to the dark and dreary.
Elements of both Mondriaan’s and Keith Haring’s work can be found in this entrance.
