Leviathan was much better than it's overview picture suggests but I still had to pick Praiseland as the better of the two. It's a shame though, I would have rather voted for the Soutenours than the Pufferfish but I have to be fair and let the parks decide. Both parks have very distinctive styles which make the most out of LL and RCT2 and if nothing else this matchup is one more indication that RCT2 is slowly starting to replace LL. Leviathan had a great coaster, better than the one's in Praiseland and I particularly enjoyed the underwater tunnels. There was actually theming underwater which I always like to see though it was pretty sparse. No complaints really, it was a solid park but not amazing in any way. The whole thing suffers from a bit of a "been there, done that" feel. The old style is good, very good in fact, but it loses to the novelty of what RCT2 can do in the right hands...
Praiseland right off the bat scores points with quite an original theme. Sure LAA did it some time ago but the heven and hell motif isn't nearly as common as the Sea Monster theme. Leviathan is the most common B&M coaster name I'm sure so unless you're SACoasterFreak you're going to catch flack for naming your coaste that. Praiseland is just fun to look at with all of the little details and theming touches. The park uses custom scenery well which is clearly an important skill for all RCT2 parkmakers. Those tacky letters on the entrance have to go though. I wasn't too impressed by the coasters (though Rapture was pretty cool until it died on that corkscrew), but coasters aren't everything. This takes a much more theme-park approach than most of the H2H2 parks so far and in this particular case, it added up to a more enjoyable park and the winner for me. Oh yeah and the Hell area in particular was my favorite. Trees on top of pipes, I love it. I almost want to do a heaven/hell theme myself now I enjoyed this so much. It strikes the same nerve that the dreams/nightmares theme does for me. I guess I'm just into binary oppositions. I think the juxtaposition of opposite dispositions mirrors my psyche in a way and that fascinates me.
The Legend of Leviathan looks damn nice, the colours are perfect, the waterfalls are perfect and the coaster looks perfect. I can't wait to get home and download it, it gets my vote already. Good job.
OK, unless you're all in Europe, who the hell's up at like 4 AM? It's 2:30 here and I'm like... o_O
Anyways, this match was definately the best one so far, no doubt. Both were great maps with some awesome coasters, not to mention great usage of land (where it was, lol).
Anyway, my vote this week goes for the Pufferfish, mainly because they used all their land, had better names, and was more enjoyable to look at. LOL was still a fine park, one of my fav's this season, but it just didn't match up well to MFP (IMO). Oh well, great job to both teams this week. It'll surely be another close battle for the win.
It looks like an Aero and Timothy Cross mix, and those are the kind of rct2 styles that I like. It fits perfect...with nice archy everywhere, not so good coasters...but the atmosphere and theming makes up for it. Yay for Maude. YAY!
I went with Leviathan. The theme has been done a milion times before, but it looked really good here. Flander's Paradise was just too cluttered. It just didn't work for me. It was a great idea for a park though.
The Legend of Leviathan, for it is RCT1. I like RCT1 better.
That has GOT to be the lamest excuse ever. period.
Did you even look at MFP in-game? It's incedible how great the architecture is. The rides themselves have seriously kick ass layout with magnificent custom supports, where put on.
Damn dude, give it a chance at least for any other reason other than it being an RCT2 park.

Dude, don't vote then. I'm not even going to recognize that vote, so the 'official' scores are 17-13 instead of 18-13 right now. Sorry to those who built Legend of Leviathan, but if people are only going to vote based on what game it is, then those votes won't be counted. And Caddie Gone Mad, shut up. Impuls3 made you look stupid already, so stop fighting it.
Anyways, continue the great discussion over these 2 great parks.
I chose MFP. It was alot more original than Leviathan, and the themeing was alot better. You honestly felt like you were in some sort of religious haven as you looked at the buildings, and heard the organs play.
The water effects in Exodus and the Ark were amazing too.

It's good to see that you even gave the other park a chance.
I'll post my comments later, cos I have a meeting soon, but I voted for the Maude-ster.

MPL had very nicely done flat rides...ala The Ark, the hellivator, and I also liked the ferris wheel a lot.
Plus, altho the inverts ending was subpar, I liked the invert and the speed coaster.
MPL.

Anyways, Leviathan is damn cool anyways.

The kiddie coaster looked like it was made in two seconds... fun.
How the fuck could that beat MFP? Another map rushed up to be finished by using h20ld.

The B+M was brilliant and it was picturesque.
I wasn't keen on the buildings in MPL...but it was still a nice park

And I didn't vote just on the game, I looked at Leviathan, and looked at the lil' picture thing for the other one.
Damn, everybody has something up their ass about opinions...
