hurricanes textures didn't work with the theme. i do not think that alberts 'bloated' themeing lends itself to the theme. many of the structures were over-bearing and clunky. still; hurricanes had a far more complete and fullbrested park than the germans. i got a sense of mass-confusion and struggle with the germans entry. it was poorly executed and messy-the coaster did not help that.
overall nice round, i enjoyed the hurricanes even though it had some obvious flaws.
p.s. i do not think that calatrava's work was reflected in the park, would it have had more whites/greys/blacks/earth tones? dunno, i just saw his bridge in redding (the thing if fucking dirty) and bought his book; i didn't see the connection.
Woah, i come off my holiday to all of this! I've missed so much; NE awards, H2H3 bonus parks, Adix leaving, Posix posting a pic of himself and, Steve coming out of the closet, using the visual aid of the picture in his topic.
Seems like Cork 'n Slob have it in the bag. No surprises there.
I put a lot of time into mine, and before my holiday had to pull near enough an all-nighter to get it finished before i left. Which would explain the unfinished, sloppy and rushed flow across the park. So, soz lol.
Cork 'n Slob (which Kumba was telling me was a sexual maneouvre practised by his mother . ) Ahem.... anyhow, cork n slob, your park was amazing visually- the dive coaster was ultra-cool. Reminded me of Oblivion, and G-force rolled into a single coaster. The park was superb- congratules.

I don't quite understand your comment about textures and "bloated" and clunkiness. Mind elaborating more specifically?
