... Whenever all the posts are geared one way and the poll is geared another, it makes me think that there is wrongdoing in the works...However I thought we put a good cap on that in this round (not saying how).
If there are I don't know who would be doing it.
I enjoyed my teams park and obviously voted for it (team loyalty) but I haven't the time to look at the seal clubbers yet. And I need to leave again pretty soon so I probably won't get to see it for a while. Sorry.
Im sorry the germans park did nothing for me, i got a huge feeling of rushedness and all it really was, was rushed archietecture. I mean there seemed to be know thought into any of it, most of the rides were unnamed, the mine train was unfinished. also the names of the coaster and rides really didnt fit the theme, i mean dark echoes wtf? I know sometimes its hard to build in rct but really for a playoff round you should have thought about the theme and had planned it, it all seemed like it was just alot of TT buildings put together, they had no purpose. Sorry i just couldnt enjoy this park at all.
The clubbers park was great, i loved the TT skill that had gone into this park. It showed skill, originality and just great parkmaking. I loved the rides and the themeing. Great entry imo, thats why it got my vote.
Seal Clubbers should get 10 votes from their respective members Germans should get 11 votes from their respective members
So the current score reflects 29 Germans (15-16 justified votes) 17 Clubbers (16 justified votes)
13:1 ratio of votes for Germans that are un-justified at this time....
Maybe I'm over-analyzing this, but something just doesnt seem right....
No, JKay. Just accept that we beat you fair and square. Just because someone doesn't post their reasons for voting for a particular park, doesn't always mean that foul play going on. Someones getting pissy that their park is losing. Besides, I'm sure that Cork and Iris have a way of working out if there is any cheatinginvolved or not.
alot of people vote, then comment later. be patient with it guys.
actually, i think that the majority of votes come from non-posters. and i swear by whatever you may want i'm not trying to get us votes or anything. i'm very surprised to see the vote turn out like this myself. positively, of course

Or they're like me, and feel that a post consisting of "I liked this better, it was prettier." doesn't warrant a post. Which is how it was in my case.
I had a very tough time deciding. For one, i told myself I'd definitely vote for the Germans if i liked that coaster, which looked 'good' from just looking. Then it turned out to be horrendous. Oh well, it almost lost my vote, but not totally. Even though some of the architecture, as marshy pointed out, was horrendous, i believe some of it was outright amazing. And i really felt inspired by the whole thing. It had a sense of 'newness' even though the other park's theme was basically trying to implement this. The Clubbers park seemed awesome, from a certain standpoint. I think a lot of people will find this a better park, and I somewhat even agree. It just wasn't for me. It's just so non-rctish (ll), load on the architecture, stuff. I did like the suspended monorail, and the waterrides, and i liked the heartlines, but nothing really stuck with me. The other park just seemed to stick with me more. Definitely a lot closer than the overview implies. From the overview the German's park looks incredible, and maybe it is, but in my opinion the park itself doesn't live up to the overview. I really wonder what iris has up his sleeves, as i wouldn't know how i would fix the overview voting problem myself (as a lot of people do seem to be voting from an overview, i think...) I'd personally prefer it if all the votes were counted up from the thread, and each voting person would have to reply, state a vote and reason. As a plus point others might see as a negative side affect, people such as Toon and Ed might be able to bend more votes then their own, and truthfully, imo they should. Not that i'm against a democracy, but in the ad. district i'm sure you'll weigh the above mentioned's replies heavier than some random i visit NE and can't build rct for doodlesquat n00b. But whatever. I'd say it would take some work, but it would also get the vote count way down, more reasonable, exciting, there'd be more room for discussion, etc. Just an idea...
I voted Germans because its WAY more my style. The Clubbers park was...cluttered and looked almost-- overdone. The Archy in the German's park was much better, and a much cooler atmosphere
There i posted justifying my vote. i didnt post this morning cuz i was going to school.
I've always hated the industrial-looking style parks, the only one i liked was Aurora's Bay...that laboratory was amazing
AWW sure had a ton of great ideas, but the only downfall was... there were a ton of great ideas. I mean, I think that there's only so much you can put into a park without making it look cluttered or overdone. The colors, surprisingly, worked very well together, and there was an overall sense of... fluency? No, that's not the word. Anyways (I'm rambling), the main problem was that it seemed uninspired. It looked to me like it was built to win a H2H match, and for some strange reason, it turns me off. Now, I'm probably way off base, but that's just how I see it. (Oh, and the cbass black tiles throughout the map annoyed me)
ESC was another good park. The style of the architecture was fantastic, and it looked beautiful... for the most part. Sorry, but there were some serious color/texture problems. I didn't check, but I wonder how many of the colors in the pallete you (guys?) used; it just seemed way overdone and didn't flow like AWW. Another hindrance that got on my nerves were all the misspellings and unnamed rides; I mean, sImifinals, catIcombs, etc. Also, like the SC's park, it seemed that everything was too cluttered; take some architecture out and let us see what's going on in the park. Let me see the story... being on the team, I know where this was inspired from, but I couldn't tell just by viewing it.
I've probably sounded very negative, but I really did like both parks, but just slightly. Honestly, I'd give a slight edge to AWW, but I'm not going to vote for either one, or null for that matter. I'm just... not going to vote (yet).
I guess I see this as cg does, and I'm not sure why more people don't. I really can't decide whether I'm more tired of quartertile architecture in a city surrounded by water and cliffs or the JK style mini park, both which have been used way too much this season imo. They all seem like parks made earlier in the season with maybe more architecture and rides crammed into the map, which for some reason makes them "better". I don't know, maybe if there hadn't been so many parks just like this released in the last couple of months I would feel differently, but looking at these parks was sort of a chore for me; I think I can now see how people who grade the sat essays that end up pretty much all the same feel.
It's obviously better than the Clubber's park so that must mean the Clubber's park is very hideous. Neither one of them were that good, so it doesn't even matter. And Kumba.....how the hell is this one of the best RCT2 vs RCT2 match ups?
just wanted to say ya usually im one of the non posters but in this matchup when i went to view this topic my vote somehow was already cast? i dont know who for or if it was nulled the vote at the time was germans 10 clubbers 8 when i first viewed it, but i didnt get to vote for who i thought had the better park because of that.

Thats my opinion, and I think I have a right to it.
I don't see why you guys can't enjoy both parks more, if your waiting for a "perfect" park I think your gona be let down a lot, coz no park is perfect in everyones eyes.
