from the overview i thought i was going to be looking at two very nice parks.
the ingame result was slightly dissapointing. The Flying Germans park wasn't as amazing as it needed to be as a concept park. The coaster had nothing to add, and all the things looked slightly off. The other park was refreshing to look at. The coaster missed a point, but i'm sure this should be an easy win that way even with the coaster not being great. I love the bit where it opens up in the park though, with the green. That was very well done.
Rappers delite definately gets my vote. The star wars one was ok, but the invert was horrible. The ships and death star were pretty well built.
Rappers delight was pretty good. The twister was ok. The architecture was good on the most part. I liked the bikes, that was a cool idea. Overall, a good entry.
yikes... not a bad round at all.
Both were pretty good ideas but neither had perfect execution.
i had a lot of trouble picking one but the flying germans get my vote in the end.
The way you had the red leader diving into the deathstar was cool.
THe rappers park.... an excellant park. wasnt a fan of the twister but an overall more intricate less gimmiky park, that im afraid came . <--- this close to me voting for it
Aside from the coaster I really enjoyed Rappers Delite. The colours were great, the little touches like the banknote were good and the 'Drive-by Training' was hilarious!
The Death Star Assault would have been much better without the coaster and perhaps with a bit of tatooine in (artistic license as far a distances go ). As it was, the coaster ruined it and I couldn't keep track of the 'battle'. Well done on going for such a challenging concept, though - the structures did look very good.
I like rap music a lot. So i knew i was going to like rapper's delite and in game it was excellant. The coaster was pretty nice and the archy was up to scratch for the person who made it...
I really liked the motorbikes too, nicely hacked. No glitcheness along any of its course so well done on that.
Being a 'Flying German' or whatever stupid name our team is gifted, i voted star wars park. Although in my honest opinion Seal Clubbers park was stronger.
Yo, this park was off the chain! The most fun park (for me) in the contest so far. I loved everything about it, even if the coaster wasn't perfect... On top of that, the overview is un-frickin-beleivable.
9/10
Death Star Assualt
I'm a StarWars fan and all, but this park just didn't seem 'StarWars' other than the Star Destroyer... A good effort though...
Okay true Music After Time is much older than WOMB and it's excellent too. Now that I've looked at both parks I'll admit more effort looked like it was poored into Rappers Delight however rap is the 2nd worst form of 'music' after country... Maybe it's just me but I didn't see any giant chains of "bling bling" lol.
I guess the main reason I dislike rap is that the refer to themselves as "rock stars". Excuse me, but you have to play ROCK to be a ROCK STAR.

you, my friend, are hilarious. if most people went past the radio-played bullshit (like fucking lil john and usher - NO!) they would at least have more respect for hip hop. most underground hip hop isn't about bling and bitches; it's about the music - sick verbal rhythmatics soaked in complex and unique beats.
i didn't really like either park, but the star wars one was a sorry attempt at a corny concept. the vote went to the seal clubbers.

Or more commonly, scream like an idiot and pound some stupid power chords.
Actually I think 'Rock Star' has taken on more of a cultural meaning and can apply to any celebrity provided they fit the criteria - which more or less breaks down to shameless self-indulgence.
I voted for Flying Germans, but not only out of team loyalty.
I just think that it was way more original compared to Rapper's Delite. Rapper's Delite was too flashy and didn't had much originalty, in my eyes. The Death Star was just something that has never been created before.
So i voted for The Flying Germans.
^ I disagree. The whole point of Rapper's Delite was to be "flashy" and I think we did a good job of capturing the flashyness. As for originality, true, maybe the Germans did have a more original idea, but execution is just as important, if not more. I checked out Death Star Assualt last night and really wasnt all that impressed. I mean, the idea was nice and original, but the execution was poor. All those explosions really made everything hard to follow, and the Death Star itself just looked like a big blob of 1/4 tile. Its just not something that I think could ever be done GOOD in RCT2. As slob said, it was just a "corny" park imo, however I do commend you guys on the effort.

The Death Star was nicely done though. I'm not a star wars junkie, so it didn't appeal to me.

More comments por favor. I'm sure the creators would really love to hear what you have to say (well, maybe... *glare*).
