WEEK 5 parks are due on JANUARY 30, 2005.

They both look brilliant, I can only look at Gods Isle as I don't have RCTLL on my comp, because of that my vote is nil.
  • Anolis%s's Photo
This could and should be our first win.
There's beautiful athmosphere in the area at the water.
I don't like the dark Buildings. That's probably because I don't know why there are dark buildings in a greek theme. Has it something to do with a god?

The ll entry is too colorful for me. The coasters' hacks are very nice but only the right coaster of both does work.

Ack this is a tough one. They are both extremely good parks. Whoever took a leaf out of phatage's book and translated epica into LL deserves acclaim, but then again I can't ignore the absolutely fantastic looks of the rct2 park. The coaster in God's Isle is the best of the competition so far - possibly one of the best i've seen - and the landscaping and theming is impeccable. But I can't ignore the innovation in the LL park, along with the daring...

I'm going to vote for God's Isle because of the coaster, but it's an extremely tough call. Congrats to both teams for producing excellent parks.

The MoLLesters had a creative park but the landscaping in IIIcons was just amazing. I really liked how that woodie is spread out through all that landscaping and having architecture built into the landscaping as well.
So my vote goes to the IIIcons.

Wow this were two awesome parks.
I voted for the IIIcons, the only thing i didnt love about the park was the (unfinished?) theatre.
    Great round..

Both amazing parks from the screens so I'm gonna null my vote as I don't have LL and wouldnt feel its fair to vote for either. I can tell this will be a close one. Hanson immediately reminded me of Phatage's Unfriendly Invador......wow :0
  • mantis%s's Photo
It seems that it's not as close as people think...shame for the MoLLesters because that park kicks ass.
  • posix%s's Photo
i didn't like either much. voted for iiicons because the coasters had it's moments.

I agree with Posix. Neither are very good, so, I'm going to vote "null." Unfortunite really...

The coaster in the IIIcons park was immense, which is why they got my vote. Although the other park was creative, it just didn't do it for me.

    Gods isle.
Very Nice coaster and some good landscaping but nothing else of not really. once again predictable RCT 2 stuff imo

    Hanson
Odd name but the brilliance of the archy in this park takes it high above the other one for me.

seems a bit weird were getting thumped.

Oh do enlighten us with specifics, oh Scenario-ism One.

Anyway, I really enjoyed both and am similar stumped at the not-really-that-close score. It could have to do with the general RCT2-bias... I'm not sure... but I thought both parks featured very nice theming coupled with fabulous coasters. Hanson was definitely more creative, with the colorful blitz of... everything. However, God's Isle featured that gorgeous class atmosphere and a very fitting classical theme that matched the name. But both parks were extremely solid and I really had a hard time picking one over the other.

This should definitely be a lot coaster. But I'd nominate this as one of the candidates for the "Best Matchup of the Year" category. :)

Looks like were going to get our first defeat, well done IIIcons.

Unlucky for us though I am very proud of the park we put out and it's definetly as good as we have shown, perhaps the name might have put people off - first impressions are everything...

    ;)

I don't have LL so I nulled it. The coaster and landscaping was great in GI, but nothing else, really. Judging by the screenshots, I'd say Hanson looks a lot better though. But.. wtf @ the name.

i voted for the IIICons. i loved the classy look, and the coaster was fucking awesome. Great job on an excellent park.

As much as I hate to vote in-division (don't want the IIIcons making a come back on use ya know?) I went with the IIIcons. The terrain woodie reminded me of some of Foozy's old LL wooden wonders, the stadium and landscaping was spectacular and the river ride was fantastic. Still the woodie is what won this for me. Hanson is a beatiful, advanced, refined LL park but somehow the treeing and such had a "been there done that" feel and it lacked the jaw dropping coaster. In my opinion it's the best park to come out of the MoLLsters so far, which is funny for me to say since this is the first time I've voted against them with real reason (I did in week 1 but that was all team bias).

Excellent work both of you. Whoever built the woodie get special props because that thing is sick. Up there with Rigor Mortis and Moutain Chase in my top five rct woodies list. Hanson lost my vote not because it was bad by any means, it just met it's match and then some in one coaster.

Caesus is already one of my favorite wooden coasters of all time, despite that unnecessary block brake at the beginning off the drop out of the station. Besides that, and a couple other tiny picky things, it's basically the epitome of perfection in my mind. For one example, how the coaster is brought back up to station level at the end and reduced to just 13 miles an hour around that last turn, just by gravity, shows the attention and skill that was put into the ride. Better even than Foozy's old coasters (it beats Kentaur IMO), or maybe I haven't seen enough of them. And, I mean, this is me with team loyalties and all.

I know Hanson is kind of messy and thrown together. It's not my favorite park ever either. I just don't get what makes God's Isle so much better. The landscaping is alright but it wastes so much space, it's unbelieveable.

    The coaster's good. I admit.

    easy

    iicons

i really dont like the use of roller coasters as scenery unless it is absolutley perfect
