Note that the Hurricanes vs MoLLesters matchup is still ongoing. I may actually extend voting all the way until the next round if neither team opens up a lead sizeable enough to call the game.
This was a magnificent entry. This whole park was pumped with atmosphere and detail, despite all the overwhelming grey tones. I loved accent pastel colors. The coaster itself, although a little intense rating-wise, was very pleasant and fit the theme. The river rapids boosted the atmosphere, but seemed cramped for reason. But then this hacked cloning machine not only an amazing theme concept, but just brilliant and beautifully done with checkerd quarter tile; definitely my favorite supporting ride yet of H2h3. The park itself had high intensity with yet a soothing and relaxing aura at the same time, very easily swaying my vote. This has to be the amazing mind of x-sector here....
Hotel of Horrors (construction) by IIIcons
Well I must say this was a disappointing park if I had ever seen one. The coaster(s) was pretty much beyond boring and borderline pitiful. Vampire's Flight was okay I guess, but only in a twisted suicidal sense. Then Gargoyle's Vengence made me even more depressed. It had terrible ratings and didnt even come off as a thrill ride, but more just a slow moving dark ride. The construction area just looked out of place and rushed. The staggering heights of the buildings didn't really help either, especially with animated statues being used the whole way up. Overall, a big let down for me by the IIIcons.
Amazing park, very creative, I love the dumping tube thing, the hacked tube ride, wow, great 1/4 aswell.
Icons, its just unfinished, so you mite not have a chance vs something like that, but if it was this mite be a very tight race. Great Fishook coaster, I love the hight, please finish the hotel whoever you are
With only looking at the overviews and the two accompanying screenshots, I'd say The Flying Germans' entry, Xenon, looks better.
I'll cast my vote once I look at them in the game.
both entries lacked a lot, in my opinion, but i can excuse the IIICons because they didn't finish anything, and what they did get done looked all right. i liked the ideas (People Mover - fucking awesome) and everything, it just wasn't finished, which made it sort of awful.
xenon only looks good from the overview corky posted. once you look in game, it's cluttered, good ideas poorly executed, and, well...cluttered. it was nice though.
JKay, it amazes me how people judge coasters off of RCT's ratings (I know nate does this too). Honestly, those come straight off the stats and not the layout or anything. I don't see how anybody but yourself can physically see if a coaster is good or not.
After a second look I went with the Hotel of Horrors, despite the fact that it wasn't as complete as Xenon. The arches in Xenon were nice, but the coaster layout and landscaping were really disappointing to me. As far as the Hotel, the architecture was nice but the whole thing was really strange.
Wow. Interesting stuff here. I'll start with the one I liked least best.
Hotel of Horrors-- Under construction?! What the hell is that jip? The sheer greatness (in size) and creativity of what was DONE of the hotel caught my attention, and if it had been finished, it would've got my vote, coasters and theming aside. Onto the coaster..did it even have one? Oh yeah..it had that one boomerang type coaster, sorry, but it looked like it had been thrown in as a last resort. Although, this type of theme would be tough to include a coaster in, so I won't knock off any points off for that.
Score - 6.5/10
If hotel would've been finished - 8.9/10
Now. Xenon-
Absolutely amazing 4D coaster...just stunning. It was all over the place and wicked fast, poppin in and out of the ground, each time goin on a different direction. Great ride...or so I would imagine. heh. Cortez's Cloning Machine was also a cool thing, with cool checkered floors ...but what really got me was the 1/4 tile structures on the building. The way they stack up against each other is very visually pleasing and the colors go well with everything else. A solid park.
Score - 8.5/10
Xenon by Flying Germans This has to be the amazing mind of x-sector here....
You might think so.
Great work you two. The major attractions (the 4-D and the Cloning Device) were and are both awasome. Of course my vote went to my own team.
I'm thinking Blitz Sama was somehow involved in the Hotel of Horrors purly because of how the folidge was arranged around the buildings. I love it. Unfortuently there wasn't much to pull me and make me like it. Just some excellent architecture and that wan't even complete.
Sorry IIIcons, we are the losers in the division and one of us had to turn around this week.
Xenon - This park was very cool. It was like X-2 and Future Aspects put together; two great parks in one. The 4D was cool too. The rotations were meh, but I liked how it was fast paced and all over. The rapids seemed a little forced in there, but was nice. The architecture is what I liked the most. I love the use of those quarter tile blocks/sculptures.
Hotel of Horrors - I really liked the architecture in this park. That tower looked like it took forever to make. The buildings had some nice detail to them, and the foliage around the buildings was great. The Fish Hook was okay- it didn't make it up the half loop, which was strange. Maybe it was just that one time...
I really think HoH could've been incredible if complete, and if it was, it'd get my vote. With that said, Xenon receives my vote.
Xexon or whatever its called. It could have easily been Hotel of Horror had it been finished. I got a feeling "in construction" stands for we had to big an idea for too short of time and didn't finish it.
The park was excellent, guys. Great detail, great ideas, great coasters, great atmoshpere.
The IIICon's park was just... hmm. A readme would help, I think... for some of it. It just seemed unfinished (well, duh), and nothing seemed to 'connect.'

Dude, proof-read! I have a feeling you've got everything the wrong way round.
The architecture in HoH was fantastic (especially the pleasure inn) but the coasters were atrocious. Xenon had a great coaster or two and some very nice theming.
So Xenon gets my vote but it is unfortunate that HoH wasn't more consistent.
it was a big let down though when i viewed it in game. didn't really look like much after all, and that coaster had bad stats.. =P
then, there's our beloved park .
too bad we weren't able to finish it, but i'd like to thank the two that did for getting something in on short notice. Then i'd like to say it, imo, was atleast potentially a winner. The hotel was gonna be amazing! (still is, btw)
anyways, i can see why the majority of the votes are going against us, but still...
HoH was fantastic. But it was not finished. And I wasn't a big fan of the coaster. Xenon had wonderful archy and the 4D was ok. As was the rapids. So with that, Xenon gets my vote.
