Congrats to the four top seeds who all got their entries. Not the most competitive round ever, but the top four seeds did get in so the next round should still be very interesting, with great match-ups between x-sector and RCTNW, and even more intriguing...Kumba vs. Diego, two of the most well known and evenly matched upcoming parkmakers. That type of match-up has the whole site drooling...hopefully no forfeits anymore in this bracket!
Dragon's Fury by X-Sector - Ok X we get it, you like Mala, now please do something more original! I know you can, maybe next round, one after, naw jusy submit whatever I loved most of the Archy, but that coaster sucked IMO, great use of Toon blocks, but things like the coaster and the colors of the park were wat below your your standerds.
Ridge Runner by RCTNW - Nice to see a large scale entry, but you did not bring your "A" game, the archy was poor compared to what you nornaly make and the coasters were very very dull, but still I like that you went full scale, now please beat X
Delle Apli by Diego (Voodoo) - I'll look when that thing gets fixed.
Red Ram by Me - I agree with Legacy, this was very simple, I did a baron landscape, archy that only needs one side built, and used almost no trees, but thats all coz its round 1 and im paceing myself. I still has a good bit of detail, like the underground mines, and all the huts are not identical. It all is based of the name of an old LL ride I did, then I added stuff like a stonehenge, Rad gods, and neat littel huts cut into the ground. Hope you guys like it.
Also thx for the post match Hype iris I have wanted to go 1 on 1 with Voodoo for at leased a year, mainly after he beat my rapids in the PT, and im sure he wants a shot at me after my PT final placed higher then his... Yep this should be good, we had bad blood for some time that lead to like 3 really nasty PM's but then we made up, I drafted him in H2H3, then I traded that bitch
Only had the time to look at Kumba's so far. I'll comment on the other ones later.
The empty, barren look worked somewhat, I think the foilage could have been a bit better, mostly the placement, because such things are very important when there are so few things to distract from it. The coaster was pretty good, but I felt it lacked a little focus in the theming, it wasn't very interesting, unlike the architecture that was more interesting. I still can't understand why you used those round windows, they totally ruined the parts they were in for me.
As for layouts, I liked RCTNW's best. That was a really good coaster. Good job. i rank you 2nd. I've seen better archy from you, tho.
As for Kumba's...not enough stuff. The red rocks were nice, but didn't do it for me. 4th.
X...too sloppy. It's dismissing it to say it's a jumble of stuff, but the greatness didn't really pop out at me and shove itself down my throat as I was hoping from you. I liked Love Token better, although I think we need a 1/4 tile block war between Mala and X to settle this...
Voodoo...you won for me, but I don't really know why. It had the least stuff wrong with it? I liked the ski slopes, but it didn't have the Ownage-techy factor of other snowy stuff like UIX. Good job though, something about it made it my favorite, I just wish there was one thing other than the theme that I could say WOW about.
Well, I couldn't view Diego's, but of the three I could view I thought Kumba's was by far the best. A beautiful, realistic layout, taking some elements from Superman: Krypton Coaster I see. Even if the actual buildings are a bit on the minimal side, the way in which the coaster interacts with the landscaping makes up for it. Exactly my kind of coaster.
With apologies to Diego, because I could not view his, I actually went with RCTW's coaster, believe it or not. I expected a lot better from X, but I think he kinda half assed it like me. Granted, he worked hard on it, because that stacking takes some time, but the overall design was pretty amateur, and the architecture was "good effort, not-so-good execution."
Kumba's was kind of bland for me. I know what you were going for, but it didn't work for me. The layout itself was pretty bland... a typical realistic BeeMer with Raging Bull tendencies towards the end. The overall plainness was another turnoff. There are more subtle ways of making barren landscapes look good, but you just missed it.
I ended up going with RCTW's because I thought it would be extremely fun to ride. Granted, I'd prolly snap my neck on those 70 MPH banked turns, but it just looked so FUN to ride! That was enough to discount the absolutely atrocious theming and architecture, namely because the theming and architecture of the other entries did not make that much of an impact to overrule my thinking.
This, IMO, would be one of the weaker bracket sides. On the other hand, it looks like all four could have afforded to not try as hard. Nevertheless, good job to all four (it sounds like Diego's would have been my favorite had I been able to view it; Sorry bud).
Diego's Absolutly blew me away, it was perfect and so realistic. Good job on that giga too.
Kumba's I really enjoyed this entry to. I thought the little buildings were great and the landscape was top notch. The coaster was a good one too but i prefered Diego's coaster. Good job man, best work yet.
X-sector's This was some amazing work too. I loved the archy and the atmoshpere of it all was brilliant. My dislikes about this entry was that it was very in your face. Still very good job.
My favourite entry in this braket had to be Diego's and Kumba's i loved them both so much.
Still no luck with uploading the workbench. Maybe somebody with a better connection could click the import scenery button and upload it for me? Id pay you back, in smilies.
None of them worked for me yesterday and I get up this morning and still none of the links work. Yesterday they were taking me to this "you got 404d" page and now the links just don't work at all.
DJ - About the windows... If you look at all the scenery in the park you win notice that I forget about picking walls, I think I had 0 custon ones, so thats the best I could do, I don't like them that much but I think its slliy to let that ruin a park for someone.

Well It sucks the the DL went down, but AP got mine up at RCTI's site right befor I guess.
