    Or cheaters. :bandit: :p

Well, it's not our team! :p

Anyways, I'm really disappointed we didn't get to see it at exactly 50/50. 49/51... What the hell... That would've been so cool.

I don't understand who'd be stupid enough to sign up with a new account and vote when it was made clear that the votes were being tracked...

theoretically, do we want to deprive people new to the site from voting here? or people that don't post? it's always been this way. why change it midway anyways? a vote is a vote right? (/quote..) if we change this why not the fact that thrice clicked the wrong button. In all fairness we ought to change that as well, then.

of course, if someone were to ask a friend to vote in h2h.. well, that's unfair. but when the voter is as impartial as anyone else, no connections to the team they voted for, why wouldn't their vote count? I know for a fact that my team didn't cheat, and since we're up now and thus have a reasonable chance of winning this way, the way i thought it was going (and the way it was set out to go) it seems unfair for the entire voting system to be thrown around for this matchup. If it comes down to just randomly taking away votes it will become an entirely new tussle, and it would seem to me iris has the hand on who wins. You could basically spreadsheet it to see how many posts you need to make to be able to vote and the different outcomes based on that. Because it is this close.

Of course, if you can pinpoint any vote that is definitely a cheated one.. please do delete that. I would like to see your reasons why and the person whom's vote is deleted though, in that case. Actually, i'd want the team to be penalized for these votes. It basically boils down to a dq anyways in this situation, but i'm talking that big yes. Where the fuck does h2h go when we let all our friends vote? that does ruin the fun.

and if we're going on like this, in people who should be deprived of voting, we should definitely deprive everyone on the team at hand from voting. It's a one man vote in favor of iris' team if everyone votes but there's no reason why everyone should vote whilst having no reason to vote differently. So we might as well get rid of those votes, there's no reason to have to subtract 10 from both sides to see the real 'score'.

I'm just blabbering though, the difference is one again wow.

I had always sort of wondered why there wasn't a post minimum for voting...

I think that should be enacted sometime or something to prevent what you're not wanting here.

I am just wondering, though... what if a lot of those peopel with like 5 or fewer posts that voted were with good intentions, maybe people that have watched in the community for a while, but never joined (I was like that for about a year or so here).

Either way, I agree with your want to keep it as fair as possible, I just think that you might want to consider waiting until Week 4 to impose any minimum post count rules or something, and that's it's in writing before hand so people know what they're doing.

(Of course, cheating's a whole other thing... if you find something like that then it's totally right to take those votes off)

I remember in a match-up last season people had to vote in a post, not in a poll. I think that's a good way to avoid fake votes. Then people can also be required to give arguments why they voted for that park.
Downside is that they have to be counted :p

ive only just started posting in the past few months, in past h2h seasons ive just voted and never posted, exception being i wasnt allowed to vote in the playoffs, guess because of my post count at the time, but it isnt fair to say hey you have 0 post you cant vote. same with new members. unless you can say yes this vote isnt legal then it shouldnt be removed, especially since how close this vote is. removing such votes could drastically change the outcome of this match and could heaverly favor 1 team.

^However there's a major risk that someone on the team just grabbed an AIM friend of theirs, had them sign up and and vote for their team.

If you don't want to look like that ort of person register, post here and there in the Ad or Basic Chat or contribute to the community. It's not a hard thing. Just make yourself into the kind of person that we can trust isn't here just to throw their favorite team ahead.

If anyone ever goes to that much trouble, that's sad. It's a fucking game.

As a lurker from the Danimation days, I take exception to that second part though. :p

    Too bad that's already happened...

    That seems... stupid...

I know I had something like that last season where I was accused of voting for a friend, but I had just voted for the better park. That's a difficult area to look at.

Either way, you'd think they'd keep it a secret or something...

If you're going to just go randomly deleting votes, you better at least make it public why and who. Everyone knows you admins are all buddy buddy here, and that is totally shady to just randomly delete votes, especially when Strangelove is a manipulative team to begin with.

Us admins? As in me, Cork, and Adix? Because any of them are on either of the two teams? So what the fuck would that have to do with anything? Idiot. Stop worrying about my job...and go back to making your uber realistic parks.

maybe because he thinks some 0 posters did vote for him without he asking it?
maybe just let it for this week and introduce it next week before the match up, than nobody will complain....
